Daniel's religion?

Maybe somebody is discussing it somewhere on this forum, but if so, I can't find it. Daniel never discusses his own religion, but in the video "Order of Denderah, I noticed this thing:

It looks to me like a little shrine. Anyone know anything about this?

The thing in the middle doesn't look like anything in particular to me, but there are some smaller objects on the shelf around it, and they look to me like little votive candles, although I could be wrong, of course. The thing is, I've actually seen little shrines like that in houses of pagan and/or hindu friends in the past.
