Kidnapping video is DISGUSTING

Okay, I have been a fan of this series almost since the start. I have also been reading these boards for a very long time too. This is the first time I have felt strongly enough about something to post something on here.

I think the videos at the start were very good. They were just sort of funny with an underlying tone of something big going on. However, the whole series started to change which was okay because the videos were good but you can obviously see that LG15 was taking on darker tone.

The latest videos, IMO have pushed the limit. This is no longer the fun series it started out with. This is just disgusting and is something I do not want to watch. These two last videos have crossed the line into some twisted series of videos. The order seems like the good guys now and Bree, Daniel and Jonas the bad ones.

To me, it no longer seems like an action packed series to watch. It just seems wrong and I will not continue to watch LG15.

P.S these are just my opnions and I wanted to express what I think to the creators and other fans. Thankyou.

I wholeheartedly agree. The mystery of the earlier days was exciting and stimulating. This blatant trauma is is just repulsive.

This doesn't make the series any worse. IMO, it gives it a more true-to-life feel. Things in life aren't always black and white. The good guys aren't always good, the bad guys aren't always bad.

To me, it no longer seems like an action packed series to watch. It just seems wrong and I will not continue to watch LG15.

The kind of action that actually makes our brain synapses connect - not stupid gratuitous drama just to evoke gut level emotional responses.

I suppose I misunderstood what you were saying there. or just didn't take enough time to think about it, but actually comparing the earlier videos with some of the latest, I DO see the difference in the type of ''action.''

I still think these videos are okay, providing they actually lead somewhere of course. I will get annoyed if the entire rest of the series turns out this way, but for now, I can handle the change.

I completely agree with you , if this is how it continues, that will suck, but for now, I will watch bree make bad choices. She is just trying to do the best thing. She doesn't know what the ceremony was going to be, just like we don't, and she is fearful.

That said, honestly, it's Julia's choice to participate. Julia doesn't seem as creeped out as Bree was about the whole thing...

I hope things work out, this may screw them over more then she put to thought

The whole "the good guys have now turned bad" thing reminds me of the episode of the Twilight Zone called "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street," about aliens who come to Earth and make the human race destroy itself by simply making lights flicker in people's homes and such. The humans all accuse each other and end up carrying out the mission the aliens wanted, but the aliens barely have to lift a finger for it to happen.

I wonder if this is what the Order is trying to do. Just plant a little bit of suspicion to start things in motion, and let the TAAG carry out the rest themselves. The Order would hardly have to do much now for the characters to all fall apart, and then when they're at their weakest they could just swoop in and take over.

I have had a long, stressful day and I may be just a touch giddy, but when you said "sweep in and take over" I immediately had a picture of the Fab 5 cavorting around Jonas' house!

I think that was the whole point of that video. I think they are tyring to show BDJ that by trying to do what they view as the right thing they may be doing something bad. I think that ultimately they will be showing the both BDJ and the Order are doing what they consider to be right, helpful etc.

BDJ kidnapped a minor because they were trying to save her from what the thought would be a worse fate. Perhaps the Order and the things they have done were to - in some way - save Bree from a worse fate.

Was it hard to watch? Yes - but I think it purposely done so. Everyone has always thought that the Order was this huge evil entity. Now or beloved heroes have done something that was right out of the Order playbook (minus all the talk about Free Will). I think the creators are trying to show that both groups think they are right , and that perhaps the real "Evil" is fanaticism.

Just my current theory - flame away.
