Well, we know Apo's canon. Well, at least close.
Nikki mentioned pulled pork sandwiches. So...that really good red sauce is close to the sandwich which is close to Nikki who is close to canon...if you see what I mean...?

I also see where NikkiBowerReport's videos are listed in the LGPedia with some really interesting production credits!

Amanda Goodfried is Alli's old mother?ApotheosisAZ wrote: I also see where NikkiBowerReport's videos are listed in the LGPedia with some really interesting production credits!

Hmmm. Interesting check out this note from the bottom of the LGpedia page (thanks for bringing this to our attention Apo)

Look at that - Nikki B is more canon that Taylor! That's pretty canon if you ask meLGpedia wrote:This is the first time any character (Bree, Nikki B, Taylor) have actually called Julia by her nickname, Jules.

Whoa. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.ApotheosisAZ wrote:I also see where NikkiBowerReport's videos are listed in the LGPedia with some really interesting production credits!
That's an inappropriate analogy, and the statement has already proven incorrect. Nikki's already had a significant impact on the story (she's the one who told Bree about Jules; that led to Bree investigating Jules, which led to Taylor messaging Bree, which led to the group going to Texas, which led to them meeting up with Taylor and Sarah, which led to them hunting for Jules together, which is going to lead to ... well, something).impulse wrote:No Sami. NB is not part of the story. To use an analogy I used already about her, she's like the extras on a DVD. She has connections, you could consider she's part of the extended crew, but she's not a character of the story. Therefore: not canon.
And I really think we need to find out the Creators' definition of "canon," or at least decide on what "canon" should mean when we're talking about LG15. I don't think everyone's using it the same way.

I'm not sure why this conversation is still going on. We all know that Nikki B. is friends with/connected to the Creator team (hence the production credits on her latest vid). It's clear that because of this, she is given bits of information to include in her videos that normal fan fiction would not have.
However, the Creators have said that her videos should still be considered fan fiction. She is still, essentially, developing her own storylines (or her team is) and having fun with her stories. Her videos are not required viewing to those following the LG15 series, and nothing will be revealed in Nikki's vids that won't be revealed in the LG15 vids if it's important for fans to know.
So yes, it's more than fan fiction...but she still drives her own videos and should not be considered required viewing.
I don't know what to say about canon vs. non-canon and such. That depends on your definition (or the Creators' definition) of canon, as Lurker pointed out.

I disagree.
I disagree. She had as much impact on the story as the forum did. For instance, the tracking device on Daniel's car was discussed on this board before Tachyon sent the information to Daniel. Tachyon was just a messenger, in that case. The she is the girl call was made on this very board before NB mentioned her in her vid. The info is gathered on the forum and reaches Bree through different channels. Bree mentioned the forum as well. That doesn't make us canon.Lurker wrote:and the statement has already proven incorrect.
