The images in this touched me in ways that were most truly personal. The "Simon/Alex Says" from the Captain was incredible. That degenerating into the lines going into the head on lap/on the knees that would go with a crash (or a nuclear incident), let's all go ahead and pick up our flotation devices now - those have always amazed me in a plane...as if they'll do anyone much good, falling out of the sky like that...

And, of course, there're the plastic "stewardii" from the '50s/'60s era of air travel. When Alex first came on the scene, her make-up was really quite reminiscent of just that look, wasn't it? That was perfect!

I did enjoy the addition of the image of Amelia Earhart - a strong woman that women of that time period...my time period - aspired to.

BTW, wherever did you get the voice track of the Captain? That was great!
Diane, or cher, or even chershaytoute, but "Hey, you!" works, too...

Yes, and the voice even sounded a lot like her! When I first heard it I thought "Geez, how did Voy get Bitsy to do a voice over for this"
