Pigeons poop A LOT!
OK. This is important now. I've been feeding this bird. I borrowed a cage from Adam (It's a dog wire frame cage - according to Adam). But I keep looking at the calendar, and I think it's vital to act on this quickly. Plus it poops a bunch, and who likes cleaning up poop.
Anyway, I am going to send this pigeon on with a note for Mr. Zipp.
I'm not sure what to write, but I have the feeling that these pigeons are being left with me deliberately so I can communicate back progress, questions, or something. Why else would they be placed as they are - and I've learned here that homing pigeons don't work like I initially thought. They have to be placed and they fly home. Thus "homing" pigeons.
Please please please give me some ideas what to put in the message. I don't know if the message would need to be coded or what, and I don't know what to put in it anyway.
I want to send it out tonight or tomorrow morning. I guess tomorrow during the day is best since I'm also going to try and follow the pigeon's path.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Maddison

Your guess is probably better than mine as to what is going on with me.

dunno. I've never chased a bird before. I have been chased by seagulls at the beach when I was a kid, but that's different. Also, I kind of deserved it too.
They don't like sticks and sand being thrown at them
I was a mean kid I guess.

Haha those poor seagulls!
I just imagine it would be pretty difficult to follow it, it's unlikely to follow the path of streets and roads and things and more likely to go as the pigeon/crow flies?
As for the message, I suggest to hold fire and see what they turn up from that KC drop today, we migth have a few more clues then.

ok Nowhere. I'll hold up til tomorrow, but I am really anxious about moving forward as fast as possible.
And - You are right - following a bird through the sky is not likely to be fruitful.

I'm not sure what should go in the message. I re-read Zipp's email just now and maybe we should address some of the following concerns he had:
1) Maddison must understand the gravity of the situation and trust Zipp
2) Maddison must immerse herself and establish many friends and grab attention in a large community
3) Maddison and her friends must work together to figure out Zipp's messages
4) Maddison must act as Zipp's microphone and work to save Zipp's kid's life
Maybe it's worth sending a message to let Zipp know that Maddison:
1) believes him
2) has found a bunch of online friends to watch her back
3) solved a few puzzles and retrieved drop 1 and (hopefully) 2
4) has "turned on the microphone," the stage is set, the spotlight's on, and is waiting to let Zipp be heard
Just throwing some thoughts out there. No idea on how to encode all this in a message, though.

I second... er rather third that notion!!impulse wrote:heheheZiola wrote:heh...because I'm a big meanie who sucks at puzzles, I say have her write something out then give it to Deagol to encrypt. He's a master puzzle maker and just once I'd like for them to be as confused as usYES!
Though as not to seem so mean, but rather to let Zipp know that all of us are ready and that we, too can play that game...
