She reminds me soooo much of Dawn Summers (only Michelle Trachtenberg had 12 years of acting experience).

I don't think that makes sense, nor good storytelling.
In any case, Bree said she spent a lot of time on her computer in her first vlog. I'm thinking that a sheltered girl would be better kept away from all the things she could find on the internet than kept away from "American Idol" and most of the other stuff to be found on TV.
I don't remember you being this defensive before.Kasdeja wrote:I was sheltered, too...so most of what I go on is MY past...and the addition of Bree's past in the comment just supports it IN MY OPINION.
Thinking about the French some more (I think I'm getting a bit hung up about this..!) "mon nom est Jules" is what would come up on any translation website if you type in "my name is jules" and ask it to translate it to French. It's a literal translation, and not at all what you would really be taught to say if you were learning French. I'm not sure about the other languages she speaks in though.
So if she's canon either the creators are being totally sloppy and haven't done the easiest bit of research (and you would think one of the crew would know the tiniest amount of French right?) or she's not learning loads of languages at all and is just a decoy. Or she's not canon at all and is just a girl visiting freetranslation.com

I have to agree...not that the creators have never been a little sloppy at times...but this is a bit much.Woo wrote:Thinking about the French some more (I think I'm getting a bit hung up about this..!) As I told somebody else in another thread where this possibility was raised, I not only think this is a great idea; I seriously hope that this is what the Creators are doing.sc wrote:I think that (okay, i HOPE that), the creators are possibly going to give us a few girls to chose from, as to whom we want the story to go forward with. As in, "is this the girl?" "No! We hate her! We don't want this to be the girl!" "Oh, no, okay, that's NOT the girl. How about this one?". . .
Here's hoping this is NOT the one.
Hey . . . has anyone who's involved in acting out in LA (or wherever) come across any casting calls that might give us a clue or two?
