Man boobs & women boobs

Ok first off this topic is NOT about porn

When you're watching a show on basic cable and a women takes off her shirt you'll see censors around the whole "breast" reigon or just the "nipples" but when a man takes off his shirt do you see the censors? NO

I find this very sexist

another example this time in public


a mother and her 5ish year old child (gender doesn't matter) are walking down the street and see man without a shirt, no big deal they keep moveing along

but this time replace the man with a women and you have a big ordeal

so I think they should either have both womens and mens censored or none

what do you think?

Gotta agree with Lass on this one. Our country has many problems, and this is certainly one of them. Men can be as open about their bodies as they want and nobody gives a damn, but with women it's completely unacceptable and possibly...illegal?

The idea that "women's boobs are a sexual bodypart" is completely cultural. There are some cultures in which women's breasts are exposed routinely and not considered sexual.

Of course, now you're going to ask me which cultures, and I'm not going to have an answer for you. Can I say "Go read National Geographic"?

I vote for don't censor any boobs. Although I acknowledge that women's boobs sexually arouse some men, I would argue that men's boobs (when they are firm and tight) can also sexually arouse some women (given the change I could definitely see myself licking Jonas' "boobs"). Womens boobs exist for the purpose of feeding babies. They should not be censored just because some people get turned on by them. Some people get turned on by feet, but you don't see us censoring feet and not allowing people to wear flip-flops or sandals do you?

Sorry if it seems like I went of on a rampage, I just think censoring boobs is silly.

here in canada TV stations can get permits to be able to show normal censored things.
But the genreal rule with most stations here, s after 10 pm in their locality they can broadcast whatever
