Taylor - First Video (ya I know lame title) 4/15/2007

I commented in the Plot discussion topic on a reason why I haven't merged that discussion with this one.

I really think this is canon. Until that is determined one way or another, I'd like to remind everyone to please not make mean-spirited comments about the person in this video. Criticism is one thing, but just saying mean things isn't welcome here at the forum.

Just watched the video and I absolutely think this is cannon. Or a really good copy. The staging of the room is so lg15!

As far as Taylor...I personally think she's rather like-able. She seems very young, but so did Bree when her part of the story started.

I thought Maddy was going to end up being cannon, but after seeing Taylor's video, I'm much more inclined to think she's "the one" instead of Maddy. (which I'm a little upset about, cuz I really liked "Adam", lol!)

I also kind of got the "baby dyke" vibe from Taylor. Maybe this is the creators way of creating the gay character that some of thought Jonas might end up being? Or maybe we are just seeing too much in her first video!

Hopefully this will go somewhere, if it is cannon. And somewhere cool. I'm afraid that this is going to become a "let's travel around the world and save the potentials!", which comes off very Buffy to me. Bree is "the one", but there are other girls that could be "the one" (we can call them the "almosts") if the one is unable to fulfil her responsibilities (or dead). The Order has given up on Bree, now they will have to find those "others" to take over her job.

Errrrrggggggh. This just makes me miss Tachy.

All I've seen is straight forward Critisim.

Look at it this way:
When Bree and Daniel first came out they were HORRIBLE at acting. We could see right past it to know they they were acting.
When Gemma came about, she was SOOO BAD! She sounded so fake, that even her accent was critized.
And when Jonas came out, he was a lot better... but still pretty damn transparent.
my point is is that this is her first video. And yea, she's going to suck for the next couple of ones BUT our "mean" critisms may help her grow to own her character. Just like Jessica, Yousef, Jackie and Jackson came to do with theirs.

I believe a few people were pretty blunt about things like "she's ugly" etc etc. which really shouldn't be said. That isn't constructive criticism, it's just mean.

Other than that, I agree with your post Kelly. It takes some time for these actors to really develop their characters.

At the same time, I really hope this isn't cannon because I just can't stand stories about young teenage girls. I can't stand their attitudes (as shown here by the whole "my best friend isn't as good as me but she made the shot and I didn't!) and I just don't think it would really work for this story as a whole. Heh.

No, I'm sorry, I can't do this. I tried to watch her vid a second time....I just can't. If this goes canon, I don't think I'll be able to watch another vid. I'll just leave, go east, wander in the desert alone and hate soccer for the rest of my life. Ok maybe not, but still, I hope she gets caught by the Order!

This reeks of fanfic to me. Nothing wrong with fanfic, but it's different from canon. No way it's canon. With Jonas, even though I didn't want to believe it until confirmed...I could at least see it. I don't see it with this one at all. It's just a teen LG15 fan making a video a la LG15. I don't see it being canon at all.
