same here:
she naive, but smart (yea I see the intellengence through the "Like so, whatever..."), she's talented ("I never miss a goal"), her mother becoming pushy and her best friend that she doesn't get to talk to any more (Taylor and Sam; Bree and Cassie).

ETA: I'm going to credit the "Like Soo Whatever..." not to a ditsy character..because i'm going to give the writers the benift of the doub on that piece....I'm crediting it to nervous acting or ... unpracticed acting. ... I'm trying to be nice)

and i dont like taylor. something about her looks like a 13 year old trying to be like bree. and yeah i do get the feeling shes canon but if she is i wont like it.

In another thread someone posted about greenteagirlie and I checked a little into her and found a site called http://vidstars.net/ They claimed to be the ones to have found her a sponsor. According to vidstars Renetto is getting $9cpm(whatever that is) for plugging guitars. On the front page of that site is the dude who made a YT vid exposing JLR as Bree. Then I see your post here about the bedding in Taylor's vid. What a bizarre series of coincidences-well for me anyway.

I can understand if the Creators are trying to reach a wider audience and appeal to younger people, but seriously...they could try and find a way to do that without making me want to throw up. I mean, come on, this girl is one pathetic character. I like Jonas, Bree, Daniel, Alex, and Gemma sooooo much more.

I mean it definately looks production, don't get me wrong. But are we sure that it's the creators doing?

Look at the video. it's not the typical webcamera, or the widescreen either. I say this because there isn't too much light there, and the webcamera would show the motions as blurly.

I dunno, I just don't want to jump to conclusions until we hear something from them.

So I think I know what maybe they're going for. She has a bit of a Claire from Heroes look to her and it's almost as if someone said, "we need a uniform but it can't be a cheerleader...hey what about making her a soccer player?"

Anyway Bree was introduced as a brainy sort of a misfit who didn't fit in and that's easy for teens to identify with. I don't think Taylor has said anything that would make young girls identify with her. To be in the teen angst adventure gang you need some hardcore teen angst.

Save the soccer player, save the world?

There is some weird lighting every once in a while, which I think is completely un-Creator-like, but the part where she lies down on the bed...I could perfectly envision Kevin standing there steadying the camera for her.

I'm not going to jump to conclusions just yet, but I am going to pray that this girl either isn't canon, or will be killed off soon.

Sorry, Immortal, but I think this Taylor has said plenty that some young girls could identify with. I get a total Baby Dyke vibe from her. She says her priorities are Sam, soccer, and (I think) school, with god and country and all that stuff way below. Sounds exactly like me when I was about 13 (except for the soccer part) -- totally crushed out on another girl. Except that I knew perfectly well what I was feeling and was terrified by it. This Taylor sounds like she may not know what she's feeling just yet.

Her parents let her hang out with Sam because they think the two of them are practicing soccer all the time, not spending time together eating and watching tons o' movies. What happens when the 'rents find out What They're Really Doing?

Will they make Taylor stop hanging out with Sam so she can concentrate on soccer and school?

IOW, Taylor is somebody whom I (or my inner adolescent) can identify with, a whole lot more than I ever could with Bree.

EDITED TO ADD: And maybe that's why some of you straight girls are so turned off by Taylor -- because you're subconsciously picking up a dyke vibe from her too. I wonder what Misty thinks of her.

Actually, if she was gay, I think I'd like her more. I mean, I'm straight, but it would just be neat to have a character like that. I'm completely not articulating what I mean. I give up.

I can't really say...well, as for obnoxious and annoying...she is most definitely both of those. She's too hyper, her voice kills my ears, she's sooooooo fake, not likeable at all, etc. etc.
