I would hate to see this whole section be deleted.
I have great memories of this game, and have posted on many of the threads here.
Does anyone know a way of saving this?
Or perhaps this could be moved to the fanfic section instead of completely deleting it.
This is sad. I have met so many great people playing this awesome ARG. I hate to see it go
I feel the same way, Minty.. Perhaps condense the three Op sections into one before moving it to fan fiction? And what about the AphidPedia? Is there a way of backing that up as well?
It would be so fucking sad to see the whole thing gone. :\

If this ARG is going to continue, moving it to the Fan Fiction section of the forum does not seem to be a viable solution. It would simply smother everything else that is going on there.
I think that JALG suggested merely changing the header title from "OpAphid: The Official LG15 Alternate Reality Game" to some title that would not indicate it is still official.
Also, milowent suggested that it be moved below the fan fiction area of the forum.
At any rate, I don't think that anyone is suggesting deletion. I'm certainly against the idea.
My immediate thought is to combine the four existing forums into one archive forum and move it down on the site. I don't want to delete everything! If there are any problems with combining all four forums into one single forum archive, please let me know. I think this would be best, since that will still allow a little conversation where desired.
With that, I'd suggest that any OpAphid fans that want to communicate with each other use the Community forums (Get to Know Each Other and Off the Cuff). Even putting OpAphid in the title will be a way to communicate and share memories and such while interacting with other LG15 fans!
I think this recent development will give the fan creators of ARG even more excitement to move forward and fill this gap, and we can surely feature them more prominently on the forum.
Edit to add: For now I'm just going to move it down on the forum, since combining things will take more time than I have today.
Not a dumb question, dear.. If I'm remembering correctly, the Order was established through LG15 first, then OpA was identified as a faction, and then Tachyon as part of the resistance. I think that if they totally got rid of the Order in LG15, there wouldn't be much of a plot left for the series.

Well with the addition of Maddison now (not yet canon, right??), I wonder if BREE will become the new Tachyon...she will help Maddison now like Tach helped HER. I don't see how they will keep the series going if no one is actually chasing Bree anymore (getting kinda sick of that anyway...)

Me too...and all the signs are pointing to that..."she who has the mark" could be maddison now...she mentioned that she had a birthmark on her back (like BREE??? )...maybe that is just the turn of events this series needs....certainly better than watching them get drunk and kidnapped...haha.
