0171-"Spanglish" [4/11/07]

ok, my first language is spanish, am from venezuela and have been speaking spanish for 24 years now. I CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HELL JONAS IS TRYING TO SAY. There are a few words that he might be sain g but doesnt make any sense. Am i the only one withspanish as a first language

?

nikki's spanish was better, i added it to the lgpedia and the translation down where the notes are.

i have jonas sentence on loop to see if i can make it out with constant playing, its the same sentence twice or thats what it seems like.

edit: seems like they might not be the same line after all, few "words" or tones dont match. Damn i really wanna do this :'(

Same here. I can't think of a reason why not either.

I mean, sure she's been a bad guy, but as far as treatment of Daniel goes, Bree has been too.

The only other thing I can see being suggested is that he's better as a long-suffering melancholy kind of guy - and to that I say "Don't be selfish!" Let the Beast be happy, people!

I usually make an effort to read all the posts, but usually only on videos with a dark side that seems there is something to figure out...

This is not that, this is an obvious lead in on the 2 relationships that seem to be forming b&j and D&A, to put it truthfully, i dont really care too much if either of them hook up or both, maybe, but cmon, thats just tachy (sp!) there has to be drama at some point between 1 or both "couples"

I so want to not like this video because its heading in a direction that I wish the whole series wasnt going to go.... BUT i love it.. B&J together have just as great of chemistry as when D&J chill, its just a good happy and generally funny time... Jonas may have become the key to keeping up the "innocent" fun side that some people want, although I want (good) ORDER STUFF... we shall see when their 2nd delve into the order vids will even be a fraction as good as opa... i doubt it, i guess i need to check out the "new" ARG, to fully see where this is going... anyway my 3.5 cent...

i also agree w/ what someone said earlier, (sorry can't remember who) about using the private videos to give us some more insight into what everyone is actually feeling.

I am only hostile because I love Daniel so much. He is far too forgiving when it comes to the ladies. I was hostile towards Bree too when Daniel forgave her too quickly. He needs to guard himself better.. he's too trusting. Not that I don't admire trusting people. I should probably be more trusting. But still, Alex is not reliable. Even if her intentions are good, she won't be able to commit to a serious relationship with Daniel unless she's trying to intentionally provoke the Order into killing her and probably him too.

I just don't see this being the key to Daniel's happiness. It's just going to get fucked up.

Secondly, I suppose you are correct about the Order knowing where they are. But I got the impression that Rosa-whatever was a different city. It seemed like they went to the town next to the one they are staying in, or something. They made it sound that way anyway.

I am also skeptical of the information from the Nikki B video. I mean, she is usually pretty reliable because she's almost next to canon. In fact, because she was never officially canonized, it might make more sense for the Creators to use her as a loophole. There are certainly copyright conflicts involved here - hence why they haven't even mentioned op or tach in the LG15 videos - but Nikki is technically just fanfic, so she is allowed to talk about it. Very smart, Creators.

BUT, it annoys me. I'm really going to be upset if they just let things crap out like that. "Yeah, Oppy is dead, so there's no more OpAphid." That makes no sense. OpAphid is a group within the Order. The woman known as Oppy seems to do all the talking, but there are others on her side. Also, I don't think it is a fair assumption to say that because OpAphid and Tachyon haven't been talking to us or mentioned in the videos, they must not be watching anymore. That would be a very foolish excuse for a conclusion. I also don't like the way Nikki referred to OpAphid as one person. The woman we know as Oppy should be called Oppy or Op really... OpAphid is the entire branch.

And the watchers being against OpAphid makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL. I talked to Oppy and she told me that there are rules for handling people like Bree. She even said that they have spiffy sunglasses. Unless EVERYONE in the Order has sunglasses, I assumed she was referring to the Watchers - and she used the pronoun "we." ugh, lamee.

This was a very cool video. I liked the scenes of the people walking through the city, and of the city itself, because they had a nice, comforting, inviting feel to them; I felt like I was part of the action. And Bree sounded liked she really knew what she was talking about during the "then and now" comparison of the city and its original people and the city today. So, Bree, after you've finally put the Order drama behind you, whenever that might be, you might have a future as a host of a travel show on the Travel Channel or the National Geographic Channel

And it definitely looks like things are heating up between D&A and J&B, but it's been like that for a while now. I wonder how long the Creators are going to tease us, but I think that it's much more likely that Jonas and Bree will admit their feelings for each other and consider a relationship.

I don't know if it's that he's too trusting. Initially he didn't even trust Jonas.

Even if he is really that trusting, I know I wouldn't be in his shoes. If it looked like I was being trusting, it would probably be me giving someone the rope to hang me in hope that they would prove me wrong.

Yeah, that was definitely not handled as well as it could - perhaps should - have been.

She signs her e-mails "OpAphid," so it really is her name (or as much her name as "Tachyon" is Tachyon's). I've mentioned this elsewhere, but to me "OpAPHID" is the organization and "OpAphid" is the woman that leads it.

Yeah, I mentioned this (most of it anyway) elsewhere. It really doesn't fit with what we knew before.

I must have forgotten the sunglasses detail, though. That just adds another bit of evidence to the Watchers being OpAphid's henchmen. Do you have a link to where she said that? I'd like to see how she worded it exactly. That would have helped out even more in past debate over where the Watchers were really hers.

there will be no more LG15 videos featuring OpAphid, Tachyon, or Brother

I don't know if we will ever get answers to those questions.
