This thread wasnt trying to be mean to the east coasters. But we ARE trying to get the word out about the LA event.. because if people dont go, it WONT happen.

Me and Diane are working really hard on this. I do encourage people who cant attend to start their own little get togethers, but I dont think its should be a west coast vs. east coast thing. We aint gangstas yo. :lol:

I thought about selling my kids to get the money, but E-bay won't let me list them...

Zi, I actually offered my kids as partial down payment on a car once. Unfortunately, the kids were with me at the time...and after all that time with my darlings, the car agency people decided that was A Very Bad Idea Indeed...

Yeah, us old ladies have to hang out together, eh? :wink:

Well, I'll check air fares and my bank account. And maybe I can convince my GF to come West with me -- assuming we haven't broken up by then. August is a long way off . . .

Then again, if we have broken up, I can take whatever damn vacation I please without worrying what she wants to do. So maybe that would be a positive development, at least in some ways.

I think I'd better stop babbling and go to bed now. Cheers!

Yeah, we'll have to see on dates, locations and whatnot before I can make a yes/no answer. Not to mention if work is super crazy or not...
