I beg to differ, theres been plenty of crap talk about the other actors, Daniels big nose, Jonases greasy hair. Brees clothes. Its no big deal, people talk crap about EVERY aspect of LG15. Alex is not exempt.Michelle wrote:I don't understand why everyone feels the need to talk about Alex's looks... nobody talks crap about any of the other actors.. and if you think Bitsie Tulloch isn't GORGEOUS then you're insane.

I love your avatar because I pretend Jonas is kissing ME! XDcrazcritrchic wrote:I would think that it would have more of an influence on Alex. I mean it was her mom. But I think that Jonas, listening to his father about how she was "full of caca", that he wouldn't take it to heart.JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote: Also, it is interesting that Jonas's step-grandmother was killed by a drunk driver. Apparently this has had no impact on Alex or Jonas's opinion of alcohol consumption.![]()

I think it is important. And it's also rather intriguing.PansGirl wrote:You are definitely close to what a lot of practitioners of Old Religions believe....that our bodies, and our relationships with our surroundings are basically tiny versions of Earth and her surroundings in the Universe. Many ancient mythologies came from applying human attributes to celestial bodies and occurences. Oh and lots of people believe that either metaphorically or literally, that meridians of energy in humans = Energy lines and/or Ley lines of Earth. Lots of holy places were built along these lines because of the energy at these points (Stonhenge, the pyramids, Native American medicine wheels, etc.)JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote: It seems like the Hymn Of One may look at the human mind as a metaphorical equivalent of geography. This would explain the fascination with astronomy and longitude. The human brain is the world; everything surrounding it is the universe. ?? Does that make sense? I think that's actually pretty interesting.
When the Scooby Gang were at Topanga Canyon, I read that that area is a big energy point. Not sure if this is even important at all, but it is sorta cool I guess.
This reminds me of my friend, who is part of a religion of which I do not know the name. Like Bree, she doesn't like to talk much about it. But she goes to specific locations in the country several times a year for meditation ceremonies. There's one in Missouri, and I think one was in Topanga Canyon too. Other followers of the religion go there and meet each other. I wonder if this "high energy point" theory is related to their meditation grounds.
My friend, I'll call her Sara, because I shouldn't say her name, is very mysterious about her religion. I actually made her watch LG15 because Bree reminded me so much of her. Sara has never mentioned anything as extreme as the Order and her religion isn't connected to Crowley; in fact, its foundation began in India, I believe. Her parents lived in India for a long time before she was born.
Anyway, this seems irrelevant, and I guess it kind of is. My point was that Sara's religion practices meditation and rituals at very particular locations. Is it possible that Bree's religion does the same (without meditation.. I don't think that has ever been mentioned)?
This leads me to recall Daniel's B&E expedition in Lucy's apartment. Maybe the maps were related to the Ceremony and other "High Energy Points" where ceremonies and rituals should take place.
ALSO.. the idea of geography/astronomy being a metaphor for the human soul/mind/body/whatever else + high energy points makes me think of.. acupuncture! Sara's mother is an acupuncturist actually. Maybe that's a coincidence though. My point is, The Order has emphasized research done regarding genetics and biology, and Bree has emphasized her education in astronomy and geography. This supports the theory that the Hymn Of One connect the physical world to the physical and spiritual human.
Could the ceremony be related to Bree's "energy points"? I'm not sure. I'm rambling, but this is fascinating, and I'm just talking as thoughts enter my mind. I'll shut up now.

That was very nice editing on the video. I like how the story is progressing and the background to Alex is good and makes sense.
I think you are confusing it also. He said that Alex is his dad's half-sister, not his half-sister. Alex is his aunt. Some of you are a bit confused about the mention of a sister. He didn't say he had a sister at all. He said that Alex was his half-sister. His mom and dad divorced and his dad married a much younger, rich woman who was apart of this religion and had a daughter who was "fruity"...He he! I haven't heard that particular description in a long time! Anyways, it brings so much more depth to both Jonas and Alex with this clarification of their past. When he talked about everything the Order did to help Alex, I didn't just wonder what she had to do in return. I also was reminded of that journal they found with all the newspaper clippings. How would she explain that? Do you think the creators will remember to include this later?
