I make all of my avvies with Adobe Image Ready, it's actually pretty simple. Just download video from Revver, edit it in Image Ready, save it as a gif file, upload to pic hosting site (such as photobucket), then you're ready to go. It only takes me like 5 to 10 minutes total to make one. And Image Ready is a free download if you don't already have it on your computer.
