There is alot of confusion about details revolving around the possible death of the Watcher at the end of "Communication Terminated".

Known facts.

At 1:33 what sounds to be a gunshot is heard.
"Watcher" reacts.
At 1:34 a crack appears in a piece of glass in front of the camera.
At 1:35 the camera hits the ground.
At 1:36 the first time the hole and crack in the glass is clearly visable.

The crack:

The hole is caused by some sort of impact by something with a small circumfrence.

What every hit the glass most likely past through the glass and was unhindered. (The hole is somewhat clean)

What hit the lens?

Easiest answer: Bullet

Problems:

Bullet should have arrived before we heard the report.
Two explinations:
The Creators made a mistake during filming.
The audio of the report comes from a different source or camera and the sounds are mixed.

What kind of camera was this that could survive a bullet hit in the lens but not survive a fall.

Second Answer: Rock

Problems:

The hole if it is on a lens is pebble sized. You would not be able to take out the cameraman with a pebble. We also do not see the shadow of a larger rock.

The Camera:
What the heck kind of camera is this?

Answer: Handy cam

Indications:

The camera falls quickly as if loose from person.

Camera faces down the watchers body.

A bullet hole that size on a handy cam's lense or filter would be reasonable.

Problems:

Chloroforming people with one hand.

Answer: Head mounted or sunglasses.

Indications:

Free movement of hands. Chloroforming.

Camera seems free of user (sunglasses) when taken at end of video

Problems:

Unless the camera was full sized and strapped to the side of the filmers head the bullet hole would huge compared to the camera size of most sunglass cameras on the market.

Camera seems free of user (head mounted) when taken at end of video.

The Watcher:
Who killed him?

Answer: Tachyon/Brother

Indications:
Similar style
Possess marksmanship skills

Problems:

How did they know where they where?
Explination:
Vegas video and then tracked them. They were still in the area due to just dropping Bree off.

Daniel did not mention Tachyon or Brother in "Missing Days".04/03/07

Answer: another watcher

Indications:
sho$-#.atch..r "shot watcher" instead of "watcher shot"

At times it seems that there are two watchers in the desert. One closer and one farther away. When the watcher hears the shot he turns in the direction of the phantom watcher.

In "Missing Days" Daniel says. "I'm pretty sure it was a watcher that shot that crazy guy who grabbed us." 04/03/07

Problems:
sho$-#.atch..r could be prefixed by a name that was lost in transmition.

Double watcher idea maybe caused by the zooming and unzooming of the camera.

Answer: Teen Angst Gang

Problems:

Where did they get the gun.
Explination:
From the hotel room?

The gang didn't mention shooting the kidnapper. 04/03/07

Regarding the size of the camera lense and the 'bullet hole'

remember the arguement about how we heard the shot and then the bullet hole

well it's possible that the bullet hit the "agent" in the body which would explain why he began to waver before the crack in the lens and when bree turned around she threw a rock. causing the crack in the lense.. this sloves both the

sound of the shot before the hole (not possible by physics)
and the "why is there a crack in a tiny lens if the bullet is bigger than the lense" questions

I don't know if this is what happened, but it's a possibility

Also, The crack in the lens looks like a crack not a hole to me, but that's me.

besides if i knew someone was chasing me and I was out of breath, feeling woozy from drugs and couldn't run anymore I know i'd pick up a rock to defend myself. Especially if he was gaining on me like that.

someone arugued bree didn't know she was being followed. I actually doubt that but I guess it is possible. as many things are

While I have nothing else to add to your summary at this point, I would like to thank you for gathering all of this into one cohesive thread. This stuff is all over the place...

And actually, I do have another thing to add. In the kidnap video the camera shows a helicopter a few times. It could have been Tachyon/Brother. It could also be the order, but we do believe Brother to be able to fly a helicopter.

what i've been thinking is that the order has asked people, kind of like a bounty (so maybe its bounty hunters), to go get these kids who are fugitives/run aways that won't come back home. So they are give so much information, but once the kids are in the orders reaches OR once the bounty hunters start to "mistreat" them in the orders eyes *BANG* they are dead...

they probably would have shot the catcher anyways for knowing too much information

Even if he was order he probably got shot for being sloppy not mistreating his prey.

When he reported about the compounds being administered. (in the description) It was an odd way to say it, as if he didn't know what it was. And he said compounds instead of the actual drug name because he knew the order already knew what the compounds were. Most likely because the Order gave them to him.

Meaning the mistreatment was intentional. He got shot for letting them escape and taking the chase where people could see.

If, of course, the watcher was a double agent of some sort. Not going there.
