Regarding the Jonas and Bree twins theory
I'm only assuming this theory came about b/c of what it says in the OpAphid profile on youtube.com
"Considering the reading material Tachyon has so generously left behind, young Daniel certainly has our sympathy. Now had they been Hardy Boys books, that would be an entirely different story.
Perhaps once you're finished with those, you might want to check out the adventures of Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield?"
The hardy boys is a story about 2 brothers (siblings) who solve myisteries (implying this would be a better choice by the same author)
but even better
Jessica and elizabeth wakefield of Sweetvalley high series who are siblings and twins.
So I got to thinking how this tied into everything
Well if jonas and Bree are twins (assuming the ages were "fudged" as others have suggested) Then I looked into Twins and alister crowely....
He talks alot about Gemini.
and sex
So I look up Gemini (remember the constilation of the lovers Bree mentioned ?) in Regards to the Zodiac of Denderah.
The Gemini of the Zodiac of Denederah are not ordinary male/female lovers; they are male/female fraternal twin lovers.
Furthermore, This would explain what "special" traits are foreseeable at birth.
I just don't know what traits could be "developed".
Gross ...
anyway
thoughts?

Re: Regarding the Jonas and Bree twins theory
wow you know I read a book once about about twins that were seperated at birth and were made to have sex in a special ceremony. They wore masks during the act itself and never knew until the girl gave birth and the baby was taken away. I dont remeber how it ends tho. Anyone seen Mists of Avalon? Its in there too only they aren't twins, just siblings. But, that kinda ties in with the whole Jonas and Bree were meant to mate theory. Maybe that why they've been so stand offish, just waiting for it to happen on its own?Lunafox wrote:I'm only assuming this theory came about b/c of what it says in the OpAphid profile on youtube.com

well yeah. what's more is that this union is supposed to be most sacred etc in the crowley world
it mentions stuff about a marrige etc... what is a marriage ...but a ceremony. ok maybe now i'm just pushing it a bit.
I really didn't think there was much basis for the theory "bree and jonas are twins" but when I looked into it that stuff just seemed to be an interesting coincidence. :p
I really don't think that's the way the series is going. At least I hope not.
besides I think the ceremony has more to do with blood >_<

That's really interesting. I really do think that there is a possibility of them being siblings (or even twins) I don't think that the ceremony has anything to do with sex, though. I don't think that the creators would go that far.
But that's really interesing, good research.

hmmm maybe.
reading this really almost wins me over to that theory. however, for some reason... I thought there is a few years age difference....?
any reason to or not to think this?

Well, just for the sake of argument...if this were some elaborate plan, played out by the Order -- separate the "twins" at birth and then get them back together for some ceremony down the road-- wouldn't the Order want to keep them from finding this info out? So they moved Jonas' age up a little and Bree's down a little, so it would seem there was an age gap between the two.
Or when the two of them got together, they'd be all "When's your birthday? No way! Mine's the exact same date, time and location! What a coincidence!"

Re: Regarding the Jonas and Bree twins theory
The Mists of Avalon are about the Arthurian Legend. The siblings were Morgan le Fay and Uther Pendragon. The child is King Arthur.Ravensnow27 wrote:wow you know I read a book once about about twins that were seperated at birth and were made to have sex in a special ceremony. I doubt the Creators are going this route. It has been done to death. Their creativity is on a much higher level than copying old, worn out stories and changing the names.

Weren't the siblings Arthur and Morgan? Morgan's mother married Uther, no?mincartaugh wrote:The Mists of Avalon are about the Arthurian Legend. The siblings were Morgan le Fay and Uther Pendragon. The child is King Arthur.

Re: hmmm maybe.
I think we know that Jonas is 19 because that's what it says on his YouTube account. Bree says she's 16 in the very first vid.ifeelcrazybaby wrote:reading this really almost wins me over to that theory. however, for some reason... I thought there is a few years age difference....?
