Questions about private transmissions

Hello, guys.

I have a couple of questions about private transmissions that I think you might get asked repeatedly, so I will start a thread.

First of, if I understand correctly, we are supposed to carry on as if we haven't seen the video; is this correct? If so, here are my questions:

1) People who have assumed an Orderite "persona" up until now (ex: Ziola, Danielle), would be assumed to have seen the vid, as they are members of the Order, correct?

2) Those who haven't aligned themselves with the Order can now do so if they want to play that character, correct?

3) If you haven't aligned yourself with the Order, and so are assumed to have not seen the video, how do you relate with characters in the "In-character" section?

4) What about fan-fic of the reporting type...like Nikki Bower or Tigerlilylynn? Should we go on the assumption that they can't see the vid either? The fan-fic is sticky here, but maybe not be you guy's problem.

5) Other option: We are just to view this in a third-party sort of way, and discuss it freely on the boards as we see fit, as if we are a giant gang of hackers? Is this where we are going with this? It's probably preferable to the other option.

Just my understanding, but I believe this is the correct option. We should assume someone in the Order sent this video to someone (or someones) else in the Order. Therefore, in-character, BD&J wouldn't have seen it. Out of character, as fans, we can discuss it to our hearts' content. Fan-fic (like Nikki B) that is directed to the fans can discuss it certainly. There may be some confusion or sticky situations in how to handle it in fan-fic, but I have confidence those creators will know how to deal with information that BD&J wouldn't know.

I don't know how fans' personas would figure in here. I don't believe they would. I believe the "private" nature of the videos is strictly for the actual characters, and then how we play along on the forums or in fan-fic is up to us, with some moderation in the in-character areas.

i think this is where a glitch would come in.
But, as they did with OpAphid, they would probably ignore everything, and allow the character find out on their own whim.

That's how I figure it will work. The Creators and ARG PM will selectively ignore what their characters are not supposed to know. So informing Tachyon of the video or such will likely be unproductive.

I don't think Tachyon even checks her messages on the forums here. I remember someone messaged her and asked her to come to this site and she said she wouldn't because it sounded like a porn site LOL.
