Are you ending it, Creators? Seriously, are you? I feel like that the way things are going, with the 'Private" vids and such, I fear LG15 is heading towards the dreaded "Pay To Watch" land. Please, feel free to tell me wrong, but otherwise, I'm going to assume that is where this is all headed. And if it does come to that, I will stop watching (I almost stopped watching when I learned it was fake, which to this day you never explained why you never announced the fake from the start, but that's a whole 'nother bone I have to pick).
the creators already said more than once that they'll never make lg15 pay-per-view, and it's not the first time that bree says that she'll stop posting videos, remember the times of the ceremony?
Hello, I'm Jo.
And yeah, I'm a guy. Jo's just a nickname.

I think it's obvious why. They knew they stood a better chance of building a following if people thought she was real for a while and then there was mystery of who she is and if she was acting. That mystery of whether it was authentic or produced was what fueled the fires up to the time of the outing.
Not sure exactly how that could be a bone to pick at all.

well the thing is what you are saying Pariah is wrong. They've been saying since they've announced it was fake, why they announced it then.
The reason they announced it then was because it no longer becasue a story about Bree, but A hunt for who was behind the story. IT became dangerous and harrassing to the creators and their friends. So, in order to stop all of the hunting for all the wrong clues and answers, they decided to announce it so the fans would learn that the story was not about who the creators were, but who Bree, as a character, really was. Check out the first episode of their Radio show, Mixed media for this answer, as well as their table from Argfest (which can be easily found on Youtube, if you search Lonelygirl15 and Argfest).
I just want to re-iterate what Jo has said. The Creators of this series have always kept their word to us. You might notice how they took a poll before adding advertising into the videos. The Fans are valued most by the Creators, far above any financial concerns. We always have been. They were broke for months and now they are barely breaking even. We want them to succeed so that they can continue making us happy.
Sami, you are right. This series is FICTION, not fake. It is true that the Creators announced it was fake and the so called "exposes" followed that announcement.

Pariah was asking why they didn't announce from the time of the first video that it was fictional, not why they chose to make the reveal when they did.
You're definitely right about why they chose the reveal when they did (I'd also think that the way the story was going would have required them to do that anyway so they wouldn't be fined for making law enforcement waste time looking into whether a real girl was being abused).
To answer the question about the pay per video thing. The creators have said they wont do that. They know they'd lose most of their viewers if they did and no one would watch, thus they would lose money. I can't remember if this said in the second radio show or at ARGfest. Anyways.
What I think the creators should do is start making dvd's and sell them. Get these videos out there ya know.
Then again, maybe their waiting till the show ends to do that... so that way for those of us that re having panic attacks we can still hold onto our box collection of LG15 dvds
We've been told repeatedly in response to weird rumors of ending (which have happened every month or so!) that as long as there is fan interaction to keep it going, the series will not end. By that same token, now the Creators have been requesting and opening up the doors even wider to MORE fan interaction.
