I want to thank you all for the insight tonight.. lol, I wish you guys had been around when my kids were little.. but I've learned more from you 3 tonight than all the docs I ever went to, for years.
My son is 21.. it's nice to finally be able to see the world, totally, the way he sees it.

I'm glad to help I, like Kenskies it seems, am not ashamed because I am ADD. As he said, it's part of who I am. Most people who grow up with ADD feel the same way, atleast the ones I know. It's rough some times, but in the long run very rewarding.

I am always happy to discuss my ADHD with any (willingly or otherwise in some cases). I often find that most people who claim "ADHD does not exist" tend to change their minds after spending even just an hour with me.

Yes. Tho some odd choices come with it in the future... and that's what I'm dealing with now. In order to advise.. I prefer to be informed first.
