Quoting my own post to address the symbolism behind Alex just suddenly giving up something she loved (photography)at the age of 26.
Remember Tachyon saying Alex had been fighting the order but then suddenly turned? I think that at age 26 Alex was brainwashed by the order and turned into one of them. So essentially she is not the same person that she was any more.

The woman was a photographer who moves to the suburbs with her husband and gets killed in the end and replaced by a robot (or just turned into an android/fembot it's not 100% clear). In any case she is completely robbed of her free will and turned into this shallow vapid thing.
She's warning her dh before it happens and she says something along the lines of 'you will know when it has happened because she will look like me and speak like me but she won't be interested in taking photographs any more'. I forget the exact wording but the similarity jumped out at me right away when watching this video.

Summary
I saw Bree's video and Daniel and I got the hell out of there. It's all kind of a blur and I found out some crazy info I can't even process right now - Jonas
AS IT GOES. Alex CAN HEAL but couldnt heal JONAS PARENTS, because they were still alive...
Daniel is once again a hostage... but for who? the order is the obvious answer, though auntie leave slight wiggle room...
Jonas is somewhere, supposedly alone, relatively close to the house ( 1 mile or so radius)
Jonas is once again abandoned in the cold
back to Bree, is she a similar breed to auntie? a healer (regurgitating past talk)
Where is Bree? She is coming home before these videos, but will the after affect cause Tachy to intervene? as it is, Bree is being too brave, and maybe as dumb as before...
Looking forward to more, but something damn well better spark a new chapter in LG15, as the chapter we are on is getting long and repetitive...

By the way, I think the whole "How can you just give up something you love?"/"It's easier than you'd think" thing was supposed to be symbolic. Nice touch.
I agree w/you about the giving up something you love. I think it's really important. I got all excited when she said it because I thought it was the closest that we were going to get to a confession from her. Obviously not, though. I'm so happy.
I mentioned this on page 2 or 3. Let me see if I can go dig up my post.
Like I said. This reminded me of the stories a while ago of the man Daniel met on the train, who had some kind of office job half the year, and the baker, who gave up a high status job to do what he/she loved.

What's this healer stuff? I have no clue what you're talking about. And I certainly haven't seen anything in the vids that would lead me to believe she's a healer. I think the stuff about Jonas's hand was just a continuity error on the creators' part.

As Widdershin just said, Daniel is clearly not a hostage. Jonas's description explicitly says that he and Daniel both got out of Alex's house. So Daniel isn't a hostage, and Jonas isn't alone.

I think that when she says "I most certainly could not have _____'d your parents because they are still alive", well the first time I heard it I heard heal. But I think she's just got a weird accent or something because heal doesn't make any sort of sense.

Interesting twist with Evil Aunt Alex, but how is Jonas involved? It seems too coincidental that of all the people on all the internets, Bree just happened to accept the help of a young man whose parents were not killed in a boating accident and are somehow involved with the order, and who has a young long-lost aunt who just happens to be part of this sinister organization...Help me understand...I do like Evil Aunt Alex, though. Evil is swell, sometimes.

Now this is a question that makes more sense. Maybe she thought J&D were too dumb to figure out it was an Order party. (And she was almost right -- it was Bree and Tachy who recognized the Lucy pic.) That might have been why whatever-his-name-was at the party was talking about "getting Alex's nephew to leave" (I am still convinced that was what the guy was saying) -- because he thought it was a bad idea to have them there.
Why can't he just fall in love with Tachy like the rest of us???
