well, i'd have to flip out and go hysterical for a few days, and then get some perspective. then i would laugh ridiculously hard...
someone else said somewhere something along these lines for the end of the series:
but that would thrill me

I'm sure that the Creators will think of some interesting way to go from here, but I'm drawing a blank. I feel that Alex will disappear because a) Bree has outed her as an Order member b) Jonas wants nothing to do with her and c) if they haven't already done so, Bree, Jonas and Daniel will realize that Alex was seducing Daniel in order to keep him in the dark as to her true nature (and props to the "sex magick" theory, because it makes sense; who knows what the Order is capable of, given their "spin art" technology
?).
So where do we go from here? As most have said, and I agree, the gang should stop running and investigate the Order. However, that's difficult to do when the Order is always after you. The Order has been pretty relentless, after all--kidnapping Daniel, placing a lookout at the Mansion, sending Alex. Something big is probably about to go down, and the gang is probably not prepared for it. I don't think that Tachyon has trained Bree long enough for her to effectively put her training into practice, and the gang hasn't had much time to research the Anti-Order documents. One solution is surrender, which is not an option. Another is direct confrontation, which is not an option because the Order will be in denial, and the gang doesn't have enough info to prove them wrong. A third option is indirect confrontation, such as calling the authorities, but this faces the same problems as option two. And the Order could accuse Bree and company of stalking and/or harrassment, and turn the tables on them--and they'd be in a worse place than they are now (literally and figuratively). The last option is to keep running, which is also not an option.
Somehow, Bree and her cohorts will have to quickly find some damning evidence that will keep the Order at bay while they make their next move (which I'm guessing might be tracking down Jonas' parents). Though I wish they'd investigate more into what the Ceremony actually is, so they know what they're "running" from. Maybe they'll get answers from Jonas' parents, or from Tachyon.

No, actually, I hadn't. And I still don't think it is. Especially after tonight's vid.Melisa wrote:Bleh, has anyone noticed the plot has become predictable?
Well, I don't think it makes much sense to speculate -- we'll find out soon enough which direction the plot will go -- but I will anyway.Kanazaka wrote:I feel that Alex will disappear because a) Bree has outed her as an Order member b) Jonas wants nothing to do with her and c) if they haven't already done so, Bree, Jonas and Daniel will realize that Alex was seducing Daniel in order to keep him in the dark as to her true nature

I actually think there is a whole lot more that can be done with Alex's character. She's Jonas's aunt, after all. And she clearly has a lot of information about the Order and his parents. I don't think that Jonas can possibly just write her off.
You haven't considered another, very viable option: to go to Tachyon and ask her to shelter them -- maybe at one of her "training camps."Kanazaka wrote:So where do we go from here? Good points, Kanazaka. It does seem about time for the plot to circle back around to the Ceremony again. And I agree that tracking down Jonas's parents does seem like an obvious move -- especially when there's no other path that seems obvious.Kanazaka wrote:Somehow, Bree and her cohorts will have to quickly find some damning evidence that will keep the Order at bay while they make their next move (which I'm guessing might be tracking down Jonas' parents).
