I don't think she should be constantly swearing. It would sort of take away from any other dialogue that might be important, in my opinion. It's almost relative to the overuse of the word "like". I mean I don't have a problem with swearing, but I don't do it constantly because there's no need for it. I did moreso when I was younger (and around Bree's age) than now, though. But as other people have pointed out, she hasn't exactly had your typical upbringing. Sometimes you can articulate feelings in other ways. That said I do swear occasionally and not always in high stress situations. Sometimes jokingly with friends. But not enough to have curse words constantly spilling out of my mouth.

I don't mind if Bree swears here and there or even swears a lot during a short period of time in which she is in a jam, but I don't think she has to constantly be swearing to get her point or feelings across.

That said I think the use of swears so far have been appropriate and have not yet taken away from the dialogue itself.

You are making my point exactly, the problem is that she doesn't swear under high stress situations but she did under less high stress situations. Anyone who's prone to swear during an argument is even more likely to swear when they are in fear for their lives.

Contrast that to Jonas who swears under the situations you'd expect him to,but isn't swearing left and right.

Except she does swear,

The said "there's are a million fucking different religions" in I Probably Shouldn't Post This...
and she said "oh shit" in The Cowboy

If she didn't swear at all, it would be more realistic than just swearing in those 2 situations.

I don't believe that is true. I was raised to never swear. My parents were very strict about that. These days I don't swear in the presence of ladies or in times of extreme stress. Mild stress will bring out the stevedore in me, though. I think that's typical for people with strict upbringing.

Especially after Alex said "shut up" to Daniel the way she did!
Diane, or cher, or even chershaytoute, but "Hey, you!" works, too...

hmm, well whatever. I swear a lot, being around the frenchies in montreal, but i have friends who just never do it, unless it slips out. it's just not how they deal. maybe bree felt the need to do it that one time, to get a point across to db, and now she's just not comfortable doing it anymore.

to be honest, if im in a really intense situation, like someone being shot or a building coming down or something, i can't even think clearly enough to have time to swear. Ever been in a car accident? That's an example. It can be happening in slow motion. And everyone in the car? Silent. Because you're just processing the moment.
