Her teeth bother me... no childs teeth look like that... so I'm assumeing she has veneers, which cost thousands of dollars and essentially ruin the exsisting teeth, and she looks about how old? eight, maybe nine?
So, now she will have to get this extreamly painful process updated at least a couple more times in her life because I think they only last about 15 years and teeth were probably fine, good, healthy teeth to befin with and all for what? Vanity?

Vote 'mute in '08! - because Paris Hilton and P. Diddy will both talk about it for months without acctually doing it themselves.

It irritates me. I had bad teeth as a child and my family had no maney to do anything about it... I have had to have lots of dental surgery now to correct it all and I am getting veneers (tuesday actually) because now my teeth just look crazy since several of my fron teeth are capped and its costing me a fortune...

I need a lot of dental work done. When I was little I had little straight white teeth. NOw..they are horseteeth and aren't white and aren't straight. I soooo want veneers.
I think there's a difference between the 'not serious' pagenty things that have little girls looking like little girls (like the little local pagents and stuff) and these horrible displays.

Its been a long process. I have had about 6 or 7 appointments getting my teeth ready for them, but I think the acctual seating of the lumineers will be the least invasive step.Mirage wrote:You're getting veneers next week? Wow!! Is it a long process?

Wow I don't know if I could take all that. I hate dentists. Well, really all doctors in general.agent_fondue wrote:Its been a long process. Now does your insurance pay for that, or is it considered cosmetic?

Its cosmetic.
My insurance payed for a lot of the prep because a couple of the teeth had cavities and then my insurance is paying for one vaneer because it had a crown and it needs to be replaced but it pretty much came down to haveing to finance about 4,600 dollars.
