Confirmation from Walter! We are on for mid-week!

So we have some organizing to do. Maybe we should set up an MIRC chat? List of people who have free phone time who can act as operators? And of course, most important, we need a drop retriever! Here Fido . . .

that's awesome. I've followed the threads but know nothing of genetics lol. I wish I could help, but I wont be in NJ till April.

However if you all need help setting up an mIRC chat room I can help with that lol, I've run/set up a lot of them in my time.

I posted in the OpAphid General Discussion section for anyone in NJ to come out and offer to get the drop. I'll monitor that thread for you guys, if anyone comes up I'll be glad to send them over. Just let me know if you guys set up the IRC, so I can send them there

Too bad I moved from NJ 4-5 years ago or else I would be about 45-60 mins away =/

And are there instructions somewhere in the Aphidpedia we can link to for people who need to know how to install the software and logon?

Yea, I'll make it super easy and do it on the same server as the opahid chat..

guys I love you and all the PMs I have received asking me to retrieve the drop.

There is only one problem. I am currently at college in Jamaica, Queens, NYC. so there is no way for me to get home and get it

I posted a request for drop retrievers in the "Get to Know Each Other" section HERE. Maybe we'll get some attention from folks who aren't even aware of what's going on down here. $/.\$

if my sister didnt think this stuff was insane I would ask her to go get it.

but Rt 1 over there is dangerous and she just got her license. i dont want her to risk her life.

Good idea, Trainer.

Another possibility would be to post something like this in a forum dedicated to ARGs in general (I don't know of any firsthand, but I think I remember hearing that there are some pretty big ones).
