I'm making some frozen lo mein/stir fry thing...I'll tell you whether it is, in fact, edible.

Have you ever substituted it for actual spaghetti? Through some marinara on there with some Romano cheese and it's very good!
We shall nonetheless move forward to carve a name for ourselves in the annals of bold insurgency and death-defying derring-do. Once I have a keen blade at my hip and the Jolly Roger is flapping high above me, I believe I will find my true calling.

And the more fat the better! (real butter, sour cream, cream cheese) I was so weirded out using real butter for the first few days.. I was like omg its FAT! lol, but its like a whole new way of eating/thinking.
Hmm, I'm not sure about the cut down in cheese and the no carbs thing, not because I particularly CRAVE them, it would just seem odd not to have them or have to regulate them. :D

However, I do love my meat (even when I'm not trying to be pervy it still happens! :D), especially a nice, thick, rare steak. And fat? Dang, this diet sounds pretty decent if you ask me.

Fish tacos? No this isn't pervy...I just know that I'm still craving them after you talked about them. :D
No, they were beef tacos - I love all kinds of tacos. Tonight I'm having left over tacos - just as good!
I usually do a taco salad the next day. Something about hot meat (damnit I cant stop with the perv) on cold lettuce with melty cheese is just so damn yummy.

Oooo All the ladies at work are doing WW. How's it working for you??

I'm doing LA! (works better for me personally since I seem to have issues counting points lol...different diets for different people right??) But it's super well balanced and easy to follow...and hopefully since it's easy to stick with I won't gain all the weight back once I reach my goal weight since it's more of a lifestyle change than a "quick fix" diet

I actually ended up doing that last nite.. Except no marinara ( I cant have it yet on this stage of the diet) but i cooked some hamburger meat with a little tomato and tossed it with the squash and some parmesan cheese. It was delish! Great subsitute for noodles!

ANd Mirage... It is pretty easy to follow, And I LOVE cheese.. but it feels like 3-4 oz. is enough a day for me.. I havent had a problem with it. As far as meat.. I was a vegetarian for about 8 years, so this meat thing was a bit new.. but I actually enjoy it. You also have to drink A LOT of water.. and I always drank a lot before this, so that wasnt hard for me either. This is actually the easiet "diet" Ive been on. Although the atkins people call it a WOE or WOL (way of eating, way of life)

I gradually get to add in more carbs with each step.

Jess- Ive never heard of the LA diet.. whats that consist of?

My only issue is the BF, because he wont want to go on a diet and I don't like the idea of cooking two seperate meals for us. Is Mr. Bunni on the diet too?

I'm fine with the water thing, because I really don't drink anything else (alcohol, juice every so often, no soda). Maybe I should look into this.

It's not really a diet so much as teaching you how to eat the way our bodies were designed to eat in the first place. It's a good balance of protein, diary, fruits, veggies, starch and fat. And LOTS of water (but I drink lots of water anyway.

It works well for me and I feel a TON better since starting it.

I'm not sure I'd want to eat diaries. I mean, all that paper can't be good for you. :|

lol strict "diets" dont work for me personally...that's why I like LA so much...I don't feel deprived of anything...this is how many servings of stuff I get every day:

2 proteins
3 fruits
4 veggies
1 dairy
2 starches
1 fat

But the proteins are HUGE servings for me so I have to break them up, for example, one serving of protein can be 8 oz of chicken, 4 oz of cheese, 2 cups of soy milk, 2 cups of edamame beans, 6 oz steak...

Does it stay the same for week to week? I mean, the number of the servings don't increase or decrease?
