FYI, copyright is in effect immediately upon creation. You don't have to register for a copyright. The only way copyright wouldn't apply is if CiW has explicitly given up those rights or has licensed the material to the Revver user.

Which brings up an interesting scenario, given Revver's stance on copyright. If someone were to report this as a copyright violation, then Revver would probably ask for proof that this user has the right to use the material. Someone could, theoretically, either shut down this ARG or flush this Revver user out as the real CiW (or at least connected to them)...

Ah i thought there was loads of paperwork involved.

However i think we should see where this is going since there are people interested i don't think it would be good for us to kill it even if its not really ciw i'd like to see more eerie intentions and more weird videos =)

plus ciw never looked too bothered about people using his/her videos since they are all over youtube as a clue recreation base anyway.

Real or not i only see this as helpful towards ciw's fanbase or if its not real it helps if the real ciw wishes to make a return.

The real ciw people are no doubt still around. they just dont login to youtube my theory is if the real ciw people have seen this wouldn't they have reported it?

and my good friend jobee! the x marks the spot. the map is of a beach. in port talbot / swansea lol i live in swansea so i dont think its here even though we have a beach but none of those street locations. so im a bit unsure of this. since ive really stayed away from that town it's apparently really messed up. i don't know if its safe? wanna go? LOL

I messaged the chronicles person...if they aren't doing this the fair way at least maybe with a message they will ask CiW or if they are the CiW creator (maybe they stopped because their school term here in the states was over and they moved back to the UK?) it will all get worked out.

Yeah, it's never a good idea to go out for a drop by yourself. You just never know. At least get a group of friends...and take a camera if you go...and if one of you two goes...you should get the phone number of the other so they can be your operator.

i still havent opened a revver account but im pretty sure the anagram was

aSnd

translated into

Sand.

They should provide email addresses with all these games i think

i don't like applying for most sites because i forget all my passwords anyway
