...completely lost control. The owners of that site have given anyone and /or anything, free reign of that website. Im not talking about the videos, I'm talking about the comments, that are beyond disgusting.
I have beeen lucky and only had a few, but its getting to a point where I am unable to enjoy going on there.

Why is hatespeech allowed on that site?

Honey, simply mark the box that says you have to approve comments before they are posted.

I used to love going to youtube...about the time that I discovered lonelygirl...but the content on that website is no longer being controlled.

You can't go and look at the top videos for the day without seen inappropriate videos or videos spammed with inappropriate comments.

It was a great idea at first, but YT is not moderating its site correctly. They are letting anything and everything go.

I don't know why they are allowing all this..personally, I go there much less than I used to.

exactly...its just that it used to have more funny and amusing videos before the youtube bitchfest 2007 took over.

you know what i do with the disgusting and harrassing comments...

report them...mark them as spam.

If they piss me off with an un-called for comment, I play the same dirty game and mark them.

I had a warning on my profile for a while about it...saying that if you say something that offends me, your reported. No ifs, ands or buts.

I mark spam, etc...if something bugs me...but I don't go on YT much anymore just because it's slow and glitchy.

I don't like the idea of censorship, but I liked the way YT used to be...before it was corrupted with 13 year old girls dancing and SPAM SPAM SPAMMM!!
