Yeah Im still doin my low carb thing. 2 weeks with no bread or pasta or CHOCOLATE! No fun, but hey Ive lost 10 lbs. so I suppose its worth it.
And now after reading Miragey's post I am SO craving fish tacos. mmmmm
How dissapointing.

With the low carb thing, can you do any grains at all?

I can have some grains later on down the road, the first few weeks I cant though.
And to be honest, I really havent wanted them. The cravings kinda died down after the first few days. I even make the hubby normal meals.. spaghetti, sandwiches, desserts..etc.. and Im not even really tempted.

Wow, you've got great self control, girl! I would be way too tempted to cheat to actually keep up with that stuff. Is there portion control as well?ave some grains later on down the road, the first few weeks I cant though.

Yeah I have the chocolate cravings every once in a while. But there a couple sweet recipes I found that are atkins friendly that I make when my sweet tooth kicks in.

Portion control to an extent. WIth veggies especially. 2-3 cups daily of certain ones. ANd 3-4 oz of cheese allowed daily. Meat, theres not too much portion control, but just to eat until satisfied, and not overdo it.
And the more fat the better! (real butter, sour cream, cream cheese) I was so weirded out using real butter for the first few days.. I was like omg its FAT! lol, but its like a whole new way of eating/thinking.

No, they were beef tacos - I love all kinds of tacos. Tonight I'm having left over tacos - just as good!Mirage wrote:Fish tacos? No this isn't pervy...I just know that I'm still craving them after you talked about them.djmadscribbler wrote:I'm making tacos!
