Yes, my daughter turned 4 December 20th. I don't usually talk about it. Long story short, I was 16 and addicted to Crystal Meth, my Gma adopted her. I was in the hospital for 6 months after I had my baby. I stayed so sick. I didn't fight my grandma, because my Daughted had to have surgery in Bham, and I was in a Decatur hospital and couldn't get out. Anywayz, we all make mitakes, and some things happen for a reason.

She still calls me Mommy, but I don't know if my Gma will ever give her back! Haha!

She calls my Gma "Nana". Her name is Alyssa. And she's a handful!

Wow, thanks for sharing such a personal thing with us. Its good to know you are doing okay now, and that your little princess is being taken care of. She is beautiful, just like her mommy.

I don't mind sharing things about my past, I just know how sensitive some forum members are, and some people get upset hearing about things like that. I'm okay with the past, it can never be fixed. You just live and learn, I guess.

OMG! She's fricking beautiful! I personally don't think it matters who raises the child, it's how she's raised that counts. You've put her first by having her in a good, stable home, which is the MOST motherly thing you could have done. Props to you, girly.

By the way, I just wanted to get this out. If anyone has been touched by prostate cancer, this might be of interest to you. It's going to be an absolutely amazing priveledge to help this guy do this! He is turning 50 and will be making 50 jumps in one day, and repacking each rig himself, which just isn't done, so that's why this is so different and challenging.
