Daniel has just finished filming some more proof against you, Bree. Is he really on your side? Perhaps he just needed a little something to turn over to the authorities for a plea-bargain. He can't be trusted.

You should immediately free Jonas. He has learned his lesson; trusting strangers on the internet is a bad idea; and he might not turn you in.

Entrapment involves the authorities themselves setting up the situation, either alone or in cooperation with a civilian. However, just as important, it also entails that the guilty party would have not committed the crime without the police's involvement (such as trying to coerce someone into doing something through threats).

In what can be a rather stupid technicality, just presenting someone the opportunity to commit a crime and then arresting them for being willing to go through with it isn't entrapment.

One could ask if he's really even on his own side. He's filmed himself breaking into three different places (two of them private residences, and one of them the property of a privately-owned business), and now this. He even said he went along with Jonas' capture, and he's so far made no physical attempt to free him. He's no more innocent in the legal sense than Bree.

That's not how plea bargains work. For him to use a tape like this in a plea bargain, the authorities would need to have no other access to it. Given that Daniel has placed it into the public domain, such an option would not exist for him.

Well, when I use the term I'm using it in terms of its negative connotation - the deliberate dissemination of false information, often riddled with logical errors of some kind or another, for the purpose of misleading. Now, I suppose we're both employing propaganda in the original, neutral sense of the word, but one of us, and only one of us, is using it in the sense that's allowed it to gain a negative connotation.

Yep, God knows that a flash grenade (which is specifically designed not to cause serious or lasting injury) that you knew was coming - and had arranged with Tachyon to use - being rolled into an elevator to facilitate your escape is a sign that Tach's got it in for you.
