I enjoy pissing my RL friends off (not one of them is Irish, so I can do this) I can my all kinds of allusions to Irish stereotypes and the minute they join in, I tell them that "my people have come a long, hard way and for what? To be ridiculed by you? I don't think so." Then I dare them to walk all throughout a shady looking town in Ireland at night wearing a large cross and see what happens to them.

I haven't typed them and I refuse to. They are horrible. I still think they are hilarious...but no one can ever see them.

They are very racist. I am not racist. I just find extreme racism to be so very funny in the fact that it is so closed minded. But trust me, you would think I am a horrible person if you read these.

Till Death Do Us Part
A short written by Kenneth Dale

Cast:
Woman
Man

[LIGHTS UP.]

[A Man and a Woman are in a room together. Throughout the skit, they carry on two conversations; the Man wants to get a fishing boat and the Woman wants her mother to stay with them. The Man believes he is getting what he wants whereas the Woman believes she is being denied her desire. This continues until the end, at which point the two conversations reconcile.]

Woman: Honey, my mom is going to be in town next week. Is it ok if she stays with us?

Man: You know what would be awesome to have? A fishing boat.

Woman: I know the two of you don’t get along, but she’s my mother.

Man: I mean, imagine sitting out on the lake, just me and the fish.

Woman: Why do you always have to be this way? I know she is difficult at times, but it is only because she wants what’s best for me!

Man: [Takes deep breath in] I can almost taste the fresh air. What do you think, honey?

Woman: Maybe the two of you could even become friends!

Man: Oh! And I could take my buddies out on it…

Woman: Please, just give it a try? For me?

Man: We could sit back, downing cold one after cold one!

Woman: Why do you have to be this way? Why can’t you ever be supportive of me?!?!

Man: So what do you think? Should we get a fishing boat?

Woman: I don’t know…

Man: Oh, it will be fantastic!

Woman: [Continuing her thought] …why you can’t just try for me. If you really loved me, you would at least try to get to know my mother!

Man: We can? We can get a fishing boat?

Woman: You know what? I am sick of you and your…your…STUBORN-NESS!

Man: Aw honey, I love you so much!

Woman: My mother will stay in a hotel when she comes, but she sure as hell won’t be alone. I’m going to stay with her! WE’RE THROUGH! Do you hear me? FINISHED!

[This is the point at which the two conversations must converge into one.]

Man: Oh honey, why don’t we go have sex?

Woman: I thought you’d never ask.

[BLACKOUT.]
