I always thought Bush and Brother had a lot of similarities ...
c'mon, don't dis Tachy like that. he's the Order's.
I'd say Laura Bush is more to Tachy's taste.
"My and my husband are every different. He's an extrovert, I'm a very quiet person (...can't remember the in between part...) One of us KNOWS how to pronounce 'nuclear'....(she paused)"
"Oh dear. If the latch-key kid is on the case, perhaps we should be afraid.
Considering the reading material Tachyon has so generously left behind, young Daniel certainly has our sympathy. Now had they been Hardy Boys books, that would be an entirely different story.
Perhaps once you're finished with those, you might want to check out the adventures of Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield?"
I know the Liz and Jessica Wakefield are a referance to Sweet Valley High. I know that might not help with the new puzzle. Do you think anythign about the Hardy Boys referance does?
Edit: Ok I totally missed that this was posted already. Sorry!

If I'm remembering correctly, someone got an email from Op regarding the Nancy Drew book found at the SF drop that something to the effect of "We are more of a Hardy Boys organization." The email was pretty clear that Op didn't like Nancy Drew books.
Basically all the Sweet Valley High reference is to say to Daniel "Hey, if you like those lowbrow Nancy Drew books, you'll like these too."
***On a side note, I totally read the Sweet Valley High series when I was young.

I asked OpAphid about the Watcher Symbol weeks ago. She just sent me a response. I asked her if the symbol was based on an Egyptian hieroglyph, this one:
It is the hieroglyph that means "to weep." She responded:
I read two things into her response:
1. When you ask OpAphid about something, sometimes she doesn't respond right away, but the question is remembered and replied to when it suits her.
2. I am still one of Op's minions. She apparently decides when retirement is an option.

Hmm.. so maybe Tachy is wrong and the symbols aren't made of greek symbols??
