That freaks me the f**k out.
I know. That's pretty crazy isn't it, given the small percent of world demographics we (americans) constitute. But, as the video says, "Shift Happens". We have the power to change that.
Tru dat--- and so we really really should.
The politics of why we've been so slow to is really interesting, actually-- not conspiracy theory but economic reality, of course--
have you heard of a film called "Who Killed the Electric Car?"
After fourteen years of reserch and development, Guy Negre has developed an engine that could become one of the biggest technological advances of this century. Its application to CAT vehicles gives them significant economical and environmental advantages. With the incorporation of bi-energy (compressed air + fuel) the CAT Vehicles have increased their driving range to close to 2000 km with zero pollution in cities and considerably reduced pollution outside urban areas.
As well, the application of the MDI engine in other areas, outside the automotive sector, opens a multitude of possibilities in nautical fields, co-generation, auxiliary engines, electric generators groups, etc. Compressed air is a new viable form of power that allows the accumulation and transport of energy. MDI is very close to initiating the production of a series of engines and vehicles. The company is financed by the sale of manufacturing licences and patents all over the world
Looks like CAT's very well may be smarter than humans
You made a wise choice, Bree.
There's no place like home.

Granted, I am kind of into cars and everything...but even so..why do we have to humiliate ourselves by making these types of vehicles look like something fisher price made...or a missing piece of a hampster habitat?? I would not ride around in that..that is embarrassing.
You mean like how goofy-ass smart cars look?
Agreed.
But considering how ridiculously massive my savings on gas would be, I'd definitely drive around in it anyway.
Thank you Luminous. The predictions of the video are merely projections based on what has been happening. The unpredictable always happens, and surpasses what we have predicted. All we can safely say is the world behind us is not the world ahead. Be alert and be flexible.
Thank you for your comment, Thamus, and welcome to the forum. I see you're new
One of my heroes is a man who dedicated his life to developing technologies and software for solving "complex and urgent global problems" His team lead the development of the mouse, the graphic user interface, the hyperlink, and was instrumental in the development of wiki software architecture:
I'm not trying to be rude or anything, in any way, when I say this Thamus-- I just found it kind of amusing that your first post at an LG15 forum had nothing to do with LG15.
