Tachyon Ring Tones

Okay, got program, program's on computer. Computer's happy with program. I'm happy with program. Except... <shaking silly ol' head...>

Now we come to the goofy and inept part.

How'n the goodlies do I get the pretty Tachy music onto my computer and into an MP3 from these nice links so I can use the pretty program? (or should I just go grab it off o' something...in which case...how'n the world would I go about doing that? <horrified look> LOL!)

Yeah, yeah, yeah! Toldja y'all were dealing with the completely inept and perfectly clueless...

Would it help if I toldja I was sysoping in the '80's...well before Al Gore even got around to inventing the Internet? <cough> Of course, that was when everything was all text based and command line...stuff was so much more simple then! <throwing hands over head>

After the song plays after the initial download, the button on the lower right is labeled "store". You have to hit that button, then choose "apply as ringtone" and then it will be your ringtone.

I think it actually didn't download properly, because I never got to the point where it would even play. Grrr. Thank you, though!

Just for the sake of completeness: I got the tone onto my phone, eventually, by downloading it onto my computer and sending it via Bluetooth. (I don't have the software to use a data cable to transfer music; Motorola do seem to like to make life hard.)

Still: Tachyon ringtone! Yay!

just got the iphone and its was suuuper easy to put the entire 3 min version popsicle made as my ringtone...

2 questions:
1. Can you get multi-media txt msgs on your phone??
2. What program did you use to try to get it on your phone? www.tonethis.com is what I used and it worked!!

I can't for the life of me get the ringtone on my stupid phone! I've tried everyone's suggestions, and nothing! My problem is none of these sites have Alltel on them, except one and that one doesn't have the Kyocera KX16 cameraphone on it

I could be wrong...but, I don't think it would matter what type of phone you had, so long as they had the carrier and phone number....iono

I just recorded the ring tone with my phone. The sound quality isn't spectacular, but you can still hear it...

OMG...I totally forgot one thing...with the "Tone This" program...it doesn't have my phone either...Motorola Q...but I just picked one similar and it worked...I think I picked Razr...so...try that!

Did anyone manage to get it onto their Virgin Mobile phone? I have a feeling they might be jerks about ringtones from people other than themselves...I've trid the ToneThis thing and it doesn't have it listed as a carrier and I also can't do it on MyTinyPhone.
