Not to be the bearer of bad news, but while the primer might have come up with soap and water when it was wet, once it has dried, its pretty much there for life.

WTF!?!?! Seriously? Oh dude it better freaking come up. We're not talking a couple of little spots. The first step outside my bathroom has 3-4 straight roller lines.

Oh, dude. I'm gonna be PISSED if it doesn't come up. I'll rub his nose in it like a flippin' dog.

Sorry! I worked as a painter for my dad for 2 years when I was younger and learned the hard way (I had to pay to replace a clients carpet).

GAH!! I'm getting pissed off all over again.

I don't know WTF we would do. The carpeting is wall to wall, both floors. We'd have to find out where they got the carpet and cut a section out (that's not even counting the blobs down here) or SOMETHING. Christ.

Good luck. Sounds like you have a little perdicament now dont we with your carpet? well paint is worse than the chewing gum, food and black sticky stuff tred into our liveing room carpet. Duno what to suggest Im just a kid.

If it's a light carpet...paint thinner? Of course there will still be ...heck, probably won't work. Doesn't he know you are supposed to clean it up before it dries???

No, it's a dark blue-ish purple. 10 to 1 he didn't even really notice it until after it had dried...either that or he just really wasn't thinking, which isn't unlikely.

He actually didn't even tell me about it, I just noticed it after the first day of work when everything was cleared out of the doorway (they had to pull up all the old ceramic tiles so it was pretty dusty and nasty).

Sigh. Someone's going to be hearing it tonight. I already gave him shit because we're only getting 50 bucks out of our rent for these whole shenanigans and we're spent more than that on supplies. If we have to pay for carpeting that HE could have NOT ruined, I might just go flipping spastic.
