Hmm, maybe you don't know what I'm referring to--- but Gemma basically tried to kill Brother, Tachyon managed to get him out of there in time, blew up Brother's building and planted a dead body there so that Gemma/Op would think he was dead.

I suppose it's not impossible that they kidnapped her rather than killed her, but I don't think Gemma's quite the pawn you think she is.

Then there's also the "RIP Gemma" thing in "The ends justify the means."

Tachy and/or Brother must have something really bad against Gemma to kill her :/

I mean, they could have killed Lucy or someone if it was just because they where involved with the Order, but they chose to get Gemma.

They must either be holding a REALLY big grudge against her or she must be a REALLY big threat.

Then Tach's email to Bro implied that their position had been compromised by Gemma because he "let her get too close," and what have you.

I think OpAphid wishing her well in the afterlife ("RIP Gemma") is confirmation enough. Obviously Brother would know if he fired, so no one would be fooled about whether she was alive (and if she is, certainly no one's taken advantage of the fact). The only possibility I can think of relating to him not killing her is that OpAphid thinks he did when he's just keeping her for a sex slave like Ziola said.

Anyway, with Gemma's actress leaving the series, it's even more likely Gemma's been iced.

Tachyon was the one who suggested they kill her. She's also the one who set up the surveilance and left the weapon for Brother to use to do it.

That's not quite what happened. Gemma led Warpylol to the safehouse to blow it up. Tachyon and others in the Culper Ring figured out what was going on and got Brother out before it blew. They then planted a body in the rubble to trick the Ipod Opera goons into thinking they got him.

It was a grudge because of her almost getting Brother killed.

Eh, close enough-- I read all that stuff a while ago, so who exactly blew up the house slipped my mind. Either way, Gemma tried to kill Brother, and planting a corpse is still nasty work. My point was just the Gemma caused enough trouble to be killed.
