But yeah, Jonas shouldn't know enough about Brother to ask the question in either form. I mean, if I were to ask, "He's not like, really brother, is he?" I would be making the suggestion that I had some reason to think it was not the person I already knew to be brother. Jonas doesn't even know who brother is...nor has he even seen him on camera...so why would Jonas ask if it wasn't really brother. It's just the word choice that's thrown me. If he had asked, "Is it really brother?" That would have made more sense...but to make the statement/question "It isn't really brother, is it?" Is strange.

That's why it really wouldn't even make sense for him to have said "It isn't, like, really Brother, is it?" I'm still confident he said "her brother," but that it didn't come out clearly because he paused (to find words?) and then began again while exhaling after a breath.

Well, brother is supposed to be rather dim...maybe he didn't look smart enough to be involved, let alone fly the helicopter?

I think Brother being slow of wit was supposed to be an act.

It definitely does seem to be an act... and I was kidding about Jonas just thinking he looked weird, ha.

I agree that it's absolutely weird that Jonas questioned that it was Brother helping them, as if he had real reason to doubt it, but I don't know if exhaling after a breath is going to make you skip an entire word. He didn't sound out of breath at all, it just sounded like one of his natural pauses.

I think whoever related this to Jonas' reaction to Bree's dad had an interesting point... it was a similar kind of seemingly baseless doubt that people were confused about.

I think Jonas has just gone so deep so fast, he still can't really believe Tachyon was there (I'm not sure Bree told him about her plan -- that would explain his bewilderment), and he can't really believe Brother is there either. And I've listend to it over and over and over and I'm POSITIVE he did not say "her," it was just a natural pause, Jonas does that all the time. Besides, why would he ask if it was her brother right then? I mean, they were getting chased by Lucy... why say it then? He didn't believe it was Bree's dad in "The Unthinkable Happened" at first, maybe he doesn't believe its Brother... after all he's been through, he thinks it just as well might be a trap. And this all could have been fairly new to him -- I don't think he knew Bree was in contact with Tachyon and Brother.

And I bet Brother is smart. It probably is an act. And I bet he's good-looking, like everybody else in this show! But why would he doubt it because of appearence? He couldn't have even seen Brother yet!

(I know, you were kidding about the Brother looking fat or something part. That's actually a funny idea!)
