Beckers: That's okay. I know some people would rather stick with the "pure canon" stuff.
Brucker: ApAZ posted a link (thanks, ApAZ!) to my vids. Yeah, to be canon would be nice (forget fame and fortune, just wanna participate), but right now I'm doing this for fun and to sharpen any skills I have at this sort of thing.
Luminous: Well, thank you! I've become more proficient at Windows Movie Maker, although the quality of the latest vid probably comes more from the increasing help of the Creators in helping me find music, and the fact that there is no voice speaking. I'm using my phone camera for these on the go ones since I have no camcorder. I'm sort of wary of putting ones with sound on at the moment, because as you may have noticed my sound is CRAPPY (due to not having a good microphone). I hope to improve that, because I really do like doing voice.
Marbella: You and Brucker really opened my mind about posting in this forum. I'll be sure to do it more often!
ApAZ: I'll try not to criticize myself. I was just trying to circumvent the flamers by sort of "getting there first." I'm working on incorporating other people as of now.
Thanks to all the above for their comments!

What about improvisation? I used to be part of an improv drama troupe, and we often did excercises to try and clear your mind before walking on stage. Of course, if you're looking to build an extended plot, I'd agree that's probably not the best way to go.voyboy wrote:My advice is to you is the best advice thats been given to me as far as using your creative mind.

Hee hee. I often go ahead and to several takes of my vids to try and sort out what I want and what doesn't work, then put it all into one take. That way it still has that spontaneous feeling. But I think what voy meant was that you have to have an idea of where you want the vid to GO first. Even with improv, you have a general idea of where you want it to go, right?
Always Listening.
