The Videos Leading Up To Daniels Disappearance

YouTube log-in times are no longer a relevent part of the story. While we used to observe the character pages for clues, we cannot count on that any longer.

In the upcoming weeks we will be migrating all YouTube videos to the LG15 account on YouTube. YouTube will no longer be "part of the Breeniverse" from a suspension of disbelief standpoint. Meaning, post times etc. are not relevant to the story. ALL plot relevance will be found on our website (who posts, when they post, etc.).

Does anyone else notice when Daniel is talking, at random points he floats out of his normal spwaking pattern and starts referring to himself as "WE". Also somewhere in the middle he says "We have Daniel". It's just kinda weird almost like he wasn't doing the talking, kinda like he was possessed. It definitely gave me the feel that it wasn't Daniel Talking but someone else.

You know I was just watching the video of him again, and it seems like the vocal track is pasted together. Along with the video. I mean alot of the stuff he says in this video could've been taken out of context, hack together from different clips of him saying things to make it sound like what they want it too.

Maybe I'm just way over analyzing.

Yea I agree, the way he was talking reminded me of the video when Bree is sad and Daniel tries to use PMonkey to cheer her up. He uses that same gangster voice lol.

is is just me or are ANY of the Op Aphid videos major creepy? like the backwards stuff is creepy and then daniel and also cassie's videos of when the order already has them just give me the ebby-jeebies. The way they jump around while they talk, and look all out of it. *shivers* Op Aphid scares me.

i agree. the first time i saw the daniel vid, it was about 2am and i was home alone. eek! i had to stop watching it and it KILLED me. my addiction to lonelycrack finally took over, though, and i watched it. but i had to turn on all the lights. and the radio. and the tv.

The first time I ever watched an OpAphid video was really late at night. it was one of the first ones with that child like voice quoting some of the 10 commandments - and I will admit, I kept the hall light on while i slept that night.

We've all been wondering how the recent videos fit into the story. Aideen put together this neat little summary that ties everything together nicely.
(I've edited it just a little to add video titles and bullet points)

Actually, the recent videos have started to make sense now.

· If Bree hadn't been upset and kissed Daniel, he wouldn't have o, without occasions that happened several videos back, Daniel would not be in danger as he goes off to the alley with his cell phmade a video talking about it and planning a dinner. ("Bree and I Hooked Up")

· Jonas was "Kicked Out" and, logically, made a video, then showing that things did not go so well.

· Bree made a video the next day saying “Daniel’s a Liar” and that she didn't like him like that, making him go off and get drunk at a bowling alley (“Truth or Dare”), where he lost his ID, which Oppy has now found.

· The next video, "Hungover", starred Daniel talking about his revelation that there are other girls out there.

· Then, in "Time to Grow Up", Bree was rude about the boys, so in the next video, the boys avoided her and played foosball (“Foosball Battle”).

· Now, in THIS video (“For the Ladies”), Daniel is ready to get back up on that horse and return to the bowling alley to meet some chicks. BUT Oppy knows where the alley is now since he lost his ID, a red flag to his location. Sone, so that when he rings Jonas to get picked up or whatever, Oppy will use the triangulation thingy to find out where he is and follow him or simply snatch him up.

She was at the bowling alley. Or is it that Tachyon was there when Daniel was kidnapped...or even helped (as a double agent)?

The point is, many people were complaining that the videos didn't make sense under the circumstances; that the plotline wasn't being moved forward. This explains exactly how the plot was, in fact, being moved forward. It led to Daniel's abduction.

Hi Cleo. Good question. There was an earlier video with a drop (a cache of clues) by Tachyon called "Knock 'Em Down". That's where the '112' bowling reference comes from. You can read about it HERE

The point is, many people were complaining that the videos didn't make sense under the circumstances; that the plotline wasn't being moved forward. This explains exactly how the plot was, in fact, being moved forward. It led to Daniel's abduction.

Yeah, I agree that it made sense how that developed. It was a bit slow, but it got somewhere and it was somewhat believable. I still don't think they were as proactive during that time period as they should have been, and that they were giving their concerns mostly to things that weren't as important as their situation, but truthfully the only pointless videos lately were "Time To Grow Up" (unless the point there was to emphasise what a jerk Bree had become to her friends; still, half of what she rambled on about in that video had no relevance, and "Daniel's A Liar" did a good job of telling us she was being a prick) and those about Cowboy.

"Looking For Daniel," "Sleepover," and "Cowboy" could have all been condensed into one, without Bree and Jonas even needing to go all the way up into the mountains only to not check out the guy's place. A far more sensible way to have gone about that would have been the bartender said Daniel left with the cowboy - and, hey, he had actually just left the bar and was out in the parking lot. "If you hurry you can maybe catch him. He drives a white van and wears a cowboy hat all the time." Jonas and Bree would have spotted him in the parking lot and followed him to the rest stop where Jonas would have checked the back of his van, almost got caught, and then ran back.

While Jonas was running back, neither he or Bree would have noticed that Cowboy was returning to his van and starting to leave. By the time they saw him pulling away, he was too far to catch up to and they lost him. Then "Miss Me?" would have come out.

Of course, this would have still left us to ponder who the hell Cowboy is, but whatever. I'm guessing Daniel will tell us that in whatever video follows "The Human Ransom."

But, yeah, long story short, videos since Christmas have had more overall relevance than those during the motel saga. Even the foosball videos had Jonas and Daniel bonding, and allowed for some development for Jonas' character.
