I posted this the other day in "The Videos" section on the main part of the board but screw it. This is too cool for all of them. I was dumb and everyone ignored me: I should have known better. This is some ARG material! :

Not sure if someone pointed this out BUT...

Anyone notice that Daniel looks up JUST like "Cassie" in our OpAPHID videos?? He does it immediatley after he says...

"C'mon, do the ceremony. That's all you need to do."

Jinkies. Now THAT is some major creepy.

I think it's important in the fact that he appears drugged, and it is obvious that they have kidnapped him and done some major mind play with him...
Is it important in whether the beast is postive or negative...I don't think. It just seems more so that he is under the influence of something whether chemical or hypnotical.

Etiquette question: I've put up a video on YouTube featuring reversed end audio, big, graphical braille, the solution to it, and minor improved overall audio.

Since several older videos list so-called "companion videos", I wondered if I could/should place a link on this video's LGPedia page?

It's this video, in case you want to have a look.

thank you so much renegade! those enhanced videos are really helpful to those of us without computer skills (like me)

this may have already been discussed, but has anyone thought that the placement of the braille has anything to do with the order of the phone #? i know alot of people have been complaining that the voicemail doesn't really say anything important but we have to be paitent... maybe we're suppoused to jumble the numbers around for a new number? i don't know... just a thought. anyway, in case anyone is interested the numbers (braille. whatever.) are in these locations:

Upper Left -- and life [18], RIP stephen [34]
Upper Right -- square [4], asmodai [7]
Lower Left -- mile [8], hard [8]
Lower Right -- heinz [57]

but more than likely i'm just grasping at straws...

i know that the phone # was figured out... the one where it's daniel's voicemail saying "i only call back girls that do ceremonies.."? what I'M saying is that maybe there's another combination to the #s that leads to a different voicemail.

It's a possibility, although that would be a new strategy for OpA...if you try it, I would just recommend that you make sure that you have a Southern CA area code before calling. So far, none of the VM #s have been outside of Southern CA, and I think it would be entirely out of place for one to be so now.

I totally agree - I thought it was odd that he was talking from another perspective like that. It's wierd, I wondered whether it was like, some weird animation or something. Are they that advanced in technology that they could do that? And in being so wrapped up in technology, could it be true that they aren't really aware that not everyone talks in the hip-"modern"-day ebonics that they had Daniel talking in? So that's my one thought.

Then the other thought is that maybe Daniel did talk like that so Bree would know that he's not actually the one talking, so it would be obvious to her not to listen to him. And maybe that's why he talked from their perspective, as an indicator that they were making him say that. But then I think, wouldn't they be smarter than that and see through it? I mean, if they've been watching them this whole time, you would think they would see a difference in the way Daniel was talking, and him talking from their perspective would be a giveaway right there.

So my thought is that maybe they want Bree to know that they are controlling him, and that's exactly what they want - to show the control they have. Something is up, because even if he was drugged, when I am drugged I have trouble speaking - I don't start speaking in a language of a different sub-culture than my own.

I really, really like this idea. I know some other people have said similar things, but I think Patti articulated it very well. Daniel might not be trying to convey any hidden message for Bree in his little speech except that whatever he says, he's not saying it willingly and she shouldn't believe that he's been convinced.
