Oh, I just thought of another song that I get a little crap from my friends for liking.
*sings* Everybody look at me, me! I walk in the door, you start screaming! Come one everybody, what you here for? Move your body around like a nympho! Everybody get your necks to crack around. All you crazy people come one jump around. I wanna see you all on your knees, knees. You either wanna be with me or be me.

This world will never be what I expected.
And if I don't belong, who would have guessed it?

You haven't really heard "Fernando" till you've listened to the demo. For fourteen hours in a row. While intoxicated or in some other altered state of consciousness or both (for at least twelve of the fourteen hours.)martha wrote:A few years ago, I went to Vegas with my parents, and my dad got really sick, so I had to drive the whole 14 hours back, listening to ABBA on repeat, because he was basically too sick to even let us stop to change the cds. Nothing wrong with those. I'm a sucker for Gordon...If I could read your mind love
What a tale your thoughts could tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind that drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartaches come
The hero would be me
But heroes often fail
And you won't read that book again
Because the ending's just too hard to take
I used to have a bootleg of ABBA demos. "Fernando" sounded awesome on that cassette. I'd play it when intoxicated people refused to leave my place at, say, four in the morning...
And come on. Burt Bacharach is cool.

Tenser, said the Tensor.

I would probably jump off a cliff. I don't mind ABBA, in fact, I like them enough to have seen Mamma Mia twice, but I absolutely can't stand Fernando.Sheikh Gomelez wrote:You haven't really heard "Fernando" till you've listened to the demo. NKOTB....I listen to them still....often.....
And I've also got solo albums by Joe and Jordan. And I've seen every movie Donnie's been in. And I cried when they wouldn't reunite for that stupid Bands Reunited show on VH1.
My level of obsession knows no bounds.
