0125 - "Sleepover" [01/30/07]

And to add to that... on the "Jonas and Bree discussing this LONG distance" thing...

that is NOT a "Small" part of the plot her.. It is "HUGE" so if they DID talk about it.. You would think they would tell us... Like a "What do you guys think./.. This is wierd huh?" kind of thing...

I dunno... gettign strange now...

Yeah I know that. Its really weird. =/ I think that Jonas has some explaining to do or in the next video Bree best ask wtf is going on.

Someone did offer one explanation that seemed reasonable ( I forget who, sorry for no credit!): They started out late on their drive, it's winter and gets dark early. They are driving up a mountain, which can be precarious, so they thought they would stop and drive on in the morning as not to crash and die. (that's my summary of the theory, it was put much better originally, lol!)

That does make some sense. Of course, what is a big hotel doing on the side of a mountain? Perhaps we need another dose of suspended belief for this whole thing.

I guess that would make sence kind of but then they should be there by now and should have gotten Daniel if everything was all right and should have posted a video. Ughh.

Sunday's date has something to do with the numbers on the cards that Jonas was holding.

I'm actually in the school of thought that says they just showed the cards to show that Jonas was bluffing.

I've said this a bajillion times to the same question, but I'll repeat myself because it keeps getting asked, lol.

I think it's very likely that by 'local' they mean he's a regular at the bowling alley.
This can be plausible in a few different ways:
1. He once lived closer to the bowling alley and went often, but had to move. Even if he moved, he knew everyone at the alley so well that he decided it was worth a long drive to go there every so often.
2. Ukiah and the general surrounding area seems very isolated and desolate. There's a good chance that Pins 'n Pints is the only bowling alley around for miles, which is why this guy is considered a local.
3a. It's possible that this guy *IS* a local and does live close to the bowling alley, but has a vacation home up in the mountains.
3b. The guy is a local and does live close to the bowling alley but is a part of the Order and was instructed to take Daniel to an isolated mountain hold. Because the Order is generally secretive, outsiders wouldn't know that this guy is a part of the Order, so they wouldn't suspect anything, (meaning that the bartender is possibly in on this as well).
3c. The guy is a local but part of Tachy's team and took Daniel up to the mountains in order to keep him from getting taken from Oppy & Friends.

As for Jonas and them having a hard time finding the place, well, in "Looking for Daniel, we see that it's raining and getting very dark out. Chances are that it got too dark and rainy to safely go up into the mountains, which is why they stopped. Plus, if you're going to a place you're probably unfamiliar with, I doubt you'd want to get there when it's dark and rainy. Especially if it's up in the mountains, which is probably much more isolated and desolate than Ukiah in general. Also, if my hunch is correct, they'd be heading up to the Clearlake area, which, from my own experience, took for-freaking-ever to get up to.

Man, I liked this video alot, it was really cool, I loved the face of Bree when Jonas was talking to Daniel ( to the camera actually) and explaingin the bed thing, and Jonas look at the end of the video, reaaally hawt.
He is really ambigous, great character development, I really hope he is gay
