Autumn is such an awesome name. If I ever have a daughter, I wanted to name her Autumn, but my boyfriend doesn't like it. Autumn is actually my favorite season. I live in New England, and it's so pretty here when late September/October rolls around. I have my screen name because I wish it were autumn here all the time.

I knew I was going to get asked this question eventually because everyone ALWAYS asks it, lol.

The name Jennifer is derived from the name Guinevere. Gwen is short for Guinevere, just like Jen or Jenn is short for Jennifer. It's not as far off as it seems. Even though it's not that far off, I'm seriously considering legally changing my name to Gwen when I get married.

BTW, it's funny that you randomly picked the name 'Steve' out of thin air to compare to your name. That's my boyfriend's name, lol.
