No worries Kristine. Although, I am not driving the 3+ hrs to go back there and return it, I will find a way to get the log book back to whoever owns it.Kristine wrote:That container of toys is probably a GeoCaching box. People sign the book to let others know they found it, what they left and what they took.
The GPS triangulation thing on the last video was probably hinting that it was at a GeoCaching spot to help narrow down the bowling alley choices.
That said... if I were you I'd put that capsule back. People and their kids (the reason for kids trinkets) play GeoCaching together and they'll be out there looking for that as part of their game and not be able to find it. Just saying.
It seems that they are just on all Illinois IDs. No idea what it meansRuberic wrote:Have we figured this set of numbers yet?
At the right of the picture, there is 2 sets of numbers and letters:
First set - 137
Second Set - SD2146
Is it a possible Tiny URL? Does it have significance? Seems odd to me.
Oops! I missed the other threads, sorry. (I dont read the general chat, lol) That's what I get for coming on and going right for the video, lol. Thanks for taping your find BTW! It makes those of us who live far away fell like we can see what's going on and get a sense for it better.. and 3 hours... ouch. I don't blame ya for not wanting to drive back, lol.ladron121 wrote:No worries Kristine.
