Oh, I don't think it matters if you like her or not...

The point is that she is not some random fan as she purports to be. She has inside information, and hence is "part" of the show. Canon as it were. No more, no less.

Didn't we all "know" that she wasn't just a random fan? She had the OpAphid Watcher eye in her very first video - before we ever saw a Watcher and before it showed up in an OpAphid vid.

I guess the really-connected-posing-as-fan-fiction was obvious, but it was never confirmed. It is nice to have it made clear, though, if just for the sake of some unanswered questions about fan interaction. It is quite telling.
