omg marblehead!!.. you were one of the first referenced.. ones that were odd...Marbella wrote:Gypsy.. Did I offend you? You left my name off your list!!![]()
Sorry about the hippie thing..
I listen to Tori Amos, adore Joni Mitchell, love mellow music, am softspoken and wear either itty bitty skirts or long, flowing ones.. like tarot cards as you do.. collect crystals and marbles..
Hippie? In many ways.
I'm politically very MODERATE though.. I used to NOT be.. when I was younger..
I can forgive you your political leniency.. and your choice of skirts.. (personally, I do jeans, lol!)... but tarot works.. crystals, well, they're pretty but..
(sorry, I'm laughing too hard now!!)...
I DON'T do BUSH.. I MUST have meat.. and we all enjoy genuine affection!
k.. have to run, hugs night all!

Er. I guess so. Although not knowing what AP exams or Achievements are make it hard to comparekrig wrote:A level = like a university entrance exam, SAT type thing
GCSE = qualifying exam like AP exams or Achievements, right?

We do GCSEs as secondary school (11-15), then we do A-levels at college or 6th form college (15-17). You have to get reasonable GCSE grades to do A-levels at most schools, and then you have to get reasonable A-levels to get into a decent uni.
Unless you just want to do curry studies as a degree at Luton uni, in which case you can probably just turn up and get a certificate...

Sounds complicated.krig wrote:I went to a British-style boarding school for high school, so we had to take SSATs in 8th grade to get in there, SATs in 5th form and 6th form to get into university, and then APs and Achievements in 5th and 6th form to get university credits and placement.

Did you enjoy boarding school?
