I can't wait to get a copy of the new hannibal book, or to watch the movie coming out next month! And Wicked...I still haven't read that. That'll be awesome. ^_^

After countless recommendations, I finally read Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game. Excellent. Now I know why everyone has recommended it to me, and I'd recommend it to others :) Anyone know if the others in the quartet are as good? How about the Shadow series?

Wicked is a Great Book. If you are familiar with the musical don't expect anything similar, and it has some waaaay weird/hard to read chapters…. But there is pay off. (I can't say the same for all of his books)
His other book that I do recommend is Confessions Of an Ugly Step Sister.

My Favorite book of all time is The Little Prince.

Yup. It's a sorta a childrens book for "Grownups".

Ender's Game is about a future where children are bred and trained to lead the world's battle fleets against an alien enemy. The story follows Ender as he moves from public school on Earth to battle school and then command school.

hm interesting 'mute. I'm not sure if its my kinda thing, but it definately sounds interesting.

Has anyone ever read 1984 and Brave New World? I know the public schools out here were required to read Brave New World in 10th grade...after hearing about it, I read it too..and wow, it is a great book. I even did a comparative essay on both the books, just because I wanted to.

Myself and another friend painted a mural of The Little Prince on our French class wall. I loved that book.

I read 1984 when I was 13 or 14... I didn't read Brave New World until just a couple of years ago... Enjoyed them both :)

Just finished Dark Harbor by Stuart Woods. Excellent Book.
Now I am halfway through The DaVinci Code, finally got around to this one, and I'm having a hard time putting the book down!

Those and Slaughterhouse 5 were required reading for some of my classes. Odd how they are banned, now.
