COMIC BOOK FANS--UNITE!!!

Post by cup o' noodles »

Ok, so being the huge nerd that I am, I of course love comic books.

That being said, it's probably unhealthy how excited I got when I got these in the mail.

I don't really know much about comic books, but I do have one. Who are the guys who draw the superman ones? Well, I have one that is signed by one of those guys. In elementary school, he came to show us all how to draw and stuff, and he gave us each a signed one. I think his last name starts with a j or a g. idk.

7Harry7, there are a whole bunch of guys who draw Superman. The artists and writers change all the time. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Oodles, I hate to ask, but . . . is "Incredible Shrinking Turtles" a rare issue?

Not really. But it's truly awesome! And, here in SoCal, finding any good, old comic books can get a little hard.

My aunt sent it to me. She is totally awesome!

And I'm obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. :D

Ya....Ah, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make the world go 'round.

I'm gonna have this big "Opening of the Comic" with my friend tonight.

We both LOVE TMNT. It'll be quite a sight. We'll be wearing like big black robes and be chanting, and bowing before an alter of Turtle-ness. With the old theme song playing in the background, of course.

God, she and I are the biggest losers ever!

I have copies of the first two issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :D . Not first printings, but still black-and-white and published by Mirage. I also like Gen 13, and have a collected volume of the original miniseries, as well as the first issue of the regular series. And I have many more comics, too many to list here.

Yay! Now I don't feel alone! I actually dyed my hair like Roxy's (white-blonde though, not black) in HS. :D
