FYI: Giger designed the alien in "Alien"....the movie Daniel referenced in "Breaking and Entering" when he said he felt like Ripley.

I read a lot about that, so I'm all for posting that info!!

Now I'm willing to accept that Daniel is just a confused teen alien from Planet Lavender (also known as Pluto) but can anyone out there show me a more obvious case of "puppy love" than the one Joan-us is nurturing for his little "Beastie Boy"? Thank goodness he could take some refuge in the dark watching Sly Stallone as a "daddy figure" get all sweaty.

Sweetie, you are showing your age. Being gay is no longer as taboo as you make it sound. Because we live in the world we do, I can't see Jonas being a gay man--there are too many politics involved. If they switched up the religion to avoid Thelema and made it not a religion after all, we can probably expect to find Jonas instead attracted to those foosball figures or pine nuts or bio-engineered humans or sea creatures or something. (Wait- "pine nuts"- don't go there, Taig.)

Anyhow, Jonas is simply that goofy guy who is good-looking and a bunch of people have the hots for, then they find out how needy he is and they never call him back after "hooking up," "smooching" or taking "drives of shame" (fleeing from his isolated home by car after a night of "hooking" when they wake to realize that the guy they spent the night with is so needy).

Just my opinion, though. (And for the record, but not to sound skanky, I prefer big D-Bones over smaller D-Bones...that's just me...)

back on topic, i think the hooked up video and the kicked out video show for sure that bree and daniel are not siblings. that leaves jonas and bree again as the obvious sibling pairing.

I'm really struggling to follow this highly important conversation too. I don't think that the Jonas and Bree are siblings thread can be separated from the aliens thread -- because both theories are interrelated and both theories spring from the same basic premises.

Mods, is it possible to reunite these connected threads? I can't be the only person who no longer understands this conversation now that it's been split in two.

I think we're close to cracking the ultimate mystery behind the series.

Gogo your points are all well made. That alone should eliminate your opinion from consideration in this thread but for some reason I feel compelled to respond.

In a previous post I acknowledged that maybe he isn't gay, maybe he is just a mutant cockroach. Of course that suggestion was met with merciless ridicule, I suspect that was only because the three stooges (CG, Milo, and JayHank) just don't like to think outside the box. Thank goodness mku is still a free thinker!

Your characterization of Joan may be closer to the truth than my conviction that he is not playing for the "same team" as I am. Maybe she's just really, really in touch with her feminine side. That would explain her heart felt compassion for the Beast and Bree. Although her fondness for Foosball tables is a little disturbing.

Daniels suave seduction of Bree and chivalrous description of same tells us that Joan wont be getting any of Daniels pine nuts anyway. (hee heee hee get it? huh? get it? Pine nuts? Well it's just as funny as "Rocky rocks" wouldn't you say?)

Maybe it's time to shift my/our focus to the newly discovered "ink" exposed through Joans ripped jeans. I'm surprised at how little "press" that is getting. I mean it is unquestionably a tattoo that is very close to if not a watcher symbol. The quick denial and and immediate disappeareance by the artist currently known as: "she who shanghaid the the decision to meet up with Joan-us in the first place" pretty much confirms its existence.

Oh it is there! It is not far fetched. Anyone with a half decent graphics package can isolate and zoom in on it. Remembering that Bree has a similar marking on her back (see the Swimming episode) one has to wonder...Are Bree and Joan related somehow?

(I am convinced that marking is on Bree's back AND that there is a similar marking on Joans leg...now they may have been put there and then forgotten about by the authors, or given that the plot here is sketchy at best maybe that particular "clue" never fit into the evolving story line but they are undeniably present)

Is it in fact a "Watcher" symbol? Or is it something else? If only to stay on topic might I suggest that perhaps it is a hieroglyph from some other civilization/species. Maybe it is a kind of "cheat sheet" for how to infiltrate the human race? Or maybe it is a visual clue that allows these aliens to "Acknowledge their Position and Help Initiate a Dialogue"

I think nobody can argue that celebrities are not of this world and have highly dubious backgrounds. They travel at the speed of sound across the globe and appear to have no earthly concerns for financial issues or family. They are always photographed lounging on the beach, with easy access to "Home Base". Aquatic Aliens. All the way.

Only Celebrity Aquatic Aliens have the time and lighting crew to make themselves appear to be human. I bet that the creators will have to get another desk lamp to try and pull this deception off, but I have faith in their mad editing skillz.

Perhaps we will see Bree in an In Style magazine photo shoot, patiently being coached by this new entry in the fray. As for this new entry's sexual preference, asexual all the way for her. I am now under the impression that the Epogen treatments needed to prevent imminent Zombification rendered Bree as asexual. Bree only kissed Daniel with the last vestige of humanity she has and now only has eyes for others of her species. It's not so much a matter of lust, she simply wants to be with her own kind.

I have several hours of whale song recordings to listen to in hopes of finding a clue to the origin of this exciting new character. I read in another thread that if you play these whale songs backwards, while watching Entertainment Tonight (otherwise knows as..... ET. ZOMG!) , you can decipher distinct Thelemic chants. I would note that watching ET can cause seizures and should be undertaken with extreme caution.
