SPOILER: American Idol's Katharine McPhee to guest star??

i know this sounds terribly mean and selfish (apologzing in advance), and i'm all for more fans, don't get me wrong... i just hope that tons of mcphee's fans don't flood the board with "wait, what's going on?" or "what is the order?". it's so nice reading through the boards and hearing everyone's interesting ideas and i don't want all of that to die if hundreds of more people who aren't caught up all the sudden hop on the lg15 train.

but even still, if it brings more $ to the creators and can increase the show's longevity -- i suppourt it.

This seems unfair. First of all, American Idol is a DUMB show and it's RIGGED. Second of all, cool.. I've been following from the beginning of the show and working my ass off with research and theories and analysis and I don't get to be in the show. Wtf? Just 'cause she's pretty and sings on some stupid reality TV show? There are people who really deserve to meet the actors as a reward for their effort and dedication. As an interactive series, we, the fans, actually contribute, and work to make the show better. She's never done a goddamn thing. I hate American Idol.

i agree with you justanotherlonelygirl. if they're trying to put in real fans, then they should put one of ya'll in. someone who has REALLY worked on the clues and stuff since the beginning. i think lg15 is selling out by putting in katherine mcphee...

Well, not likely that her appearance in lg15 will be cancelled so just take it with spoonful of sugar and swallow that sucker down.

Honestly I'm more worried about new people bashing lg15 and the forums regulars. You know, there will be people who only care about this because McPhee is in it.

I would never bash the American Idol folks! I'm a huge fan of the show!!! Especially the famous Simon Powell, he is an extraordinary talent! Personally, I think he was wise to select Katherina McPhee as the next American Idol, she's going to do just as well as Kerry Clarkson did!!!

Speaking of Kerry Clarkson, I love that song of hers that goes:

Katherina "Nanny" McPhee is a Whitch who is also a nanny, she is a haggard old buzzard with one tooth that sticks out of her mouth (it must hurt like the dickens!!!). She is popular because of the Henry Potter series, about the young boy who goes to a Whitchcraft school to learn how to become a Whorelock with the powers in inherited from his father.

Great summary, JerseyJohnny!

It does fit with the LG15 story and the hints of the occult.

(Incidentally, I was interested in a whorelock once while I was in college, but my father just wouldn't accept him. We had to break up.)

Unfortunately, sometimes we gotta deal with "the man". It's life, it's business, and I can understand the Creators on this. I think they knew how most of us would feel and have considered that in the making of the upcoming vid, so I'm just going to wait and see. *crossing fingers*

The emo-reacting of the old timers is sort of funny to read "Oh dear, what's gonna happen to our show? Oh and all these newbies flooding our forums!!!". Let's put it this way: if the show is developing the way the creators want it...you are just salted peanuts, dear fans. Caviar and champagne is still waiting in the fridge.
